Zach6668 513
And you beat...?
trystero 0
Why are we minraising from the BB with 7 limpers. If you're going to raise then do it forcefully. And your hand's not good enough to do that. So check. On the flop I fold. His push is 3x the pot and I have TP ugly kicker. Villain could have aces up, a set, or an ace with a better kicker, AJ, AQ. I don't really know what we're beating except an extremely donked ace or a bluff, so without reads I fold.

JMoney2681 0
OMG how did I miss preflop...I was just trying to build a pot with a decent hand. I wasn't trying to force anyone out, I was just building a pot. Dumb I guess? LOL. I don't normally do it, but it just seemed right. I also have reasons for doing this..-If someone tried to slow play a big Ace, that would be trouble for me if I hit on the flop, so I min raised preflop to see if anyone would RERAISE to show me where I am at. I also wanted to build a pot because I am an idiot I guess? lol.-If someone didn't reraise then i would feel my Ace was good on the flop, unless of course he had Ace rag and makes 2 pair.Basically I min raised to see if anyone was slow playing a big pair or big AK or AQ, and since everyone called I felt that I now knew that no one had a HUGE slow played hand, but if I just check, I don't have a clue as to how big their hand could be. Zach6668 513
Don't build pots out of position with a "decent" hand.
JMoney2681 0
Don't build pots out of position with a "decent" hand.OK, sir, I agree. The sickest thing was the results from this hand...Short stack had 44, guy who pushed had K8....WTTF!??!?! My timer clock was wearing down and I couldn't decide to fold or call, so at the LAST SECOND I clicked call, but I was literally 1/2 second late. Then I see the hands...K8, 44...WTF!? Oh well, in the long run, it was a good fold, right?

JMoney2681 0
And give us time to have a discussion before you leak the results Sorry I just felt no one else would respond, Should be more patient. Even though I saw their terrible hands, I still made the correct fold for the long run scheme of things.
burbs42 0
This feels a lot like 55. I personally fold here and look for a better spot. Also, with 6 other players in the pot, I make it about a buck 25, 50 PF. I dont mind raising here, bc i think there's a very good chance we have the best hand.

But then when I realized that there really was no draws on the flop, why bet so much? Then I took too long to call, oh well.
burbs42 0
I make that bet a lot of the time bc a lot of aces are paying me off, maybe even some worse hands who think theyre getting bluffed.
