DwayneWayne 0
Party Sit and Go’s.$10$20$30$50I was wondering who plays these and have complete records for the games they’ve played. I just started putting more time into these and am wondering if these are as profitable to play as most ppl make them out to be. I understand that a 50% in money stat is a must to show a profit, how high are ppl’s Money %’s, also what % of Money’s are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, which I think has to be a HUGE factor as to profitability.I know I’ve scanned posts where ppl have played 100 I would love to see the stats for those, if anyone has a link or any experience with these I would like to discuss whatever I can…
Baylor05 0
The two sites I mostly play at are Party and Pacific. I know everyone on this forum hates Pacific but I prefer it simply because Party's sit-and-gos are so terribly structured. I almost always at least make the money in Pacfic sit-and-gos, but the last four or five SNGs I've played at Party have left with nothing but disappointment. The blinds move too quickly for the meager amount of chips each player receives at the start. It becomes an all-in fest by the third or fourth round. On Pacific if you play solidly and avoid bad beats you are almost guaranteed money.Avoid SNGs on Party, they suck.
BuzzWorthy 0
The Stars SNG format is better too, as blinds don't increase as quickly (unless you play the Turbo SNG)
aboyd98 0
You don't necessarily need a 50% in the money to be profitable. That seems pretty difficult to achieve. My percentage is about 40% and ROI is about 33% i think. I don't have the stats in front of me right now. But my 1st place % is higher than 2nd and 3rd. That is playing the $10+$1 SNGs on party. I agree though that Pacific SNGs are much easier to make the money as the competion is pathetic on that site. Pokerstars seems to be quite difficult in comparison.
slappy110 0
ive been playing a lot recently and have found that the limit sngs are ridiculous...for the last 30 sng's ive played in, all limit, ive finished out of the money in 3 of them...could be an upward swing in variance or just the fact that its easy...who knows. As for the NL tho, the structure is a joke i agree (its no different for the limit however its not an all in fest for obvious reasons) i think i'll try pacific tho, those sound pretty good. mk 11
You certainly can find better structures, but the poor play on Party makes up for it, imo. The $10 Party s&gs used to be great, but players have tightened up considerably. I find the $20 and $30 s&gs are actually easier to beat these days. UB has good S&G structures if you're looking for an alternative. Better players there, though.
Kevin Garceau 0
I was told once that a professional online player who specializes in STTs avgs abot 40% in the money. Remember the second and first place finishes make up for the majority of your winnings. If you only ever got 3rd, 50% would be losing in most cases, depending on number of players, as some sites only play 9 others play 10.I by no means am a professional and consider myself barely above avg in play. Here are my last 50 stt stats...In the money is 51.2%ROI is 49.71%Including all tourneys my In the money is 49% and my ROI is 65.12% of course ROI is going to be much higher in the MTTs with many players as you can turn 10 bucks into sevaral hundred.I use www.pokerdominator.comyou hve to enter the stuff manually but its pretty good. I have poker tracker as well.
