The cleerleader is from Texas, Niki, DL and Micah are from Vegas, the cop is from LA.
ah you are quick. i am slow. i totally had a brain fart on that one. you are correct. i guess because they are all 'meeting up' in new york, i just disregarded that fact. Even better! we should see more migrant heroes! thanks for the correction. :club:

I don't know if they will meet up in Texas Vegas or NY. With the whole "Save the cheerleader, save the world" tag line they have been running you would think it's probably in Texas.Peter and Isacc are headed to save her, but I don't see how they know where to go. Hiro is supposed to be told by Peter, but again how does he know where the cheerleader is. I don't see how they are going to pull Peters brother, Niki, DL and the cop into Texas though.

Agreed....I wish I was like Hiro, and I could fast forward myself ten years ahead in time, grab all the season sets and bring 'em back with me so I could watch the entire series.

Did anyone notice the name of the casino Hiro and his buddy were at?
It's the casino from the show Las Vegas... Montecito? Is that it?
yep. It sure was. Although I don't think Danny and Ed Deline would ever let such shennanigans happen at the Montecito.

I rewatched the entire series so far Friday night to show it off to a few people who had not seen it and I was keeping an eye out for that symbol to see where it pops up because I read that it shows up in a lot of subtle places. When I first watched it I noticed it in a few places.Future Hiro's katana hiltOn the Activating Evolution bookAlter ego Niki's tattooOn the necklace of the black guy who mind wipes peopleThis time I saw it in a ton of other places.Claire's Geometry bookIssac has it on a ton of paintingsPeter draws it onceIt scrolls on that computer program that Mohinder finds on the portable hard driveAll over Sylar's aptOn the 9th Wonders comic book that Hiro stealsShows up a few times on the map in Mohinder's apt.I wonder if I missed it a few other places.*Edit - Just was rewatching the second episode at work on my laptop and noticed that it is also in the pool after the cop finds the little girl. It shows up as a hose + a few floating items.I also have a theory that Niki's alter ego is actually that of her husband from his days as a criminal. That would explain why it knew where to bury bodies where he had apparently done so in the past. It also would explain the use of the term "our" when she was threatening to shove her heel into that guy on the elevators temple. From the graphic novel this week they make it out to be that DL is reformed and wasn't involved in anything bad (this time) and he is worried about protecting his family. I don't think he intends them any harm.9th Wonders site

NBC Write ups for the next few episodes...Highlight to read them.

Hiro and Ando embark on their heroic journey to New York, when they are stopped by a Vegas high-roller who offers them a deal they can't refuse. As Mr. Bennet sets up a meeting for his daughter Claire with her biological parents, she hopes that questions about her newfound abilities can be answered. Meanwhile, Isaac receives another confusing call from Hiro, but Peter is there this time to pick up the phone and relay a life-saving message. Mohinder bids farewell to Eden as he heads back to India to bury his father. An unexpected visitor shows up at Niki's home.
Facing a crisis involving her son Micah, a distraught Niki reveals her recent personal struggles to a friend. Pushing aside his own issues at home, Matt assists Audrey's investigation into another bizarre murder, but their pursuit of mysterious serial killer Sylar takes an unexpected turn. After failing to act like a "superhero" when faced with danger, Hiro questions his heroism. Nathan and his wife Heidi (guest star Rena Sofer) strategize how to win the congressional election. Claire is shocked to learn where her missing tape wound up. Meanwhile, her father Mr. Bennet is disturbed by news from one of his associates.
Back in India to mourn the passing of his father, Suresh encounters mysterious dreams of the past that force him to question what path to take next. Continuing their journey to New York, Hiro and Ando stop at a diner and meet someone interesting. In crisis, Niki comes to a personal understanding. Determined to see one of Isaac's paintings that Simone recently sold, Peter asks Nathan for help in finding a key to the future. Intent on getting back to her normal life, Claire focuses on Homecoming preparations, unaware of what's to come. Meanwhile, Mr. Bennet and a surprising associate focus their attentions on another "hero."
Rumor also has it that Sylar is being played by Sean Bean!

Alright, so i have been watching but a little confused. Sylar is the guy from the 1st episode (or 2nd) where the cops had him cornered and he was in a hooded sweatshirt and you couldnt see his face (except the white chin), and he made the chick cop put the gun to her head. Or is he the guy who is with claire's "dad" all the time?

I honestly don't think even hte writers know who Sylar is yet. I def don't think it's Claire's dad, I like the theory that he's a Xavier of sorts. I'd be a big fan if they went that direction

Thanks for posting those spoilers in white. But anyways, tonights episode was totally f-ed up! First of all we didn't see the cop and the congress dude. But it was a good episode that revolved around the chick. So the questions I'm left with is...-Why's Nikkis alter ego against the walk through walls guy?-Why doesn't Hiro just teleport to New York.-WTF is up with Claires dad.. [Favorite character so far]-What's Micahs powers.-What's Suresh role now?-In the painting where Peter is controlling the locker doors in the air, whose power is he using?A few ideas I've thought of also is that there might be some answers in Papa Sureshs urn, and the symbol must be the symbol of evolution. And a pretty obvious theory is that Sylar steals peoples brain for their powers._This show is worse then drugs.

But it was a good episode that revolved around the chick. So the questions I'm left with is...-Why's Nikkis alter ego against the walk through walls guy?Her alter ego seems almost to be a paranoid sociopath. I don't know that she's fully set against D.L. Rather she seems to be completely focused on herself and Micah and will let absolutely nothing stand in the way of their security. Or, perhaps her head has been jacked already and she's unwittingly working for those whom seem to be the opposition to the 9th wonders. -Why doesn't Hiro just teleport to New York.Maybe because last time he did he ended up in the future. While he has developed much better control of his powers, he seems to be a looong way from proficient. Furthermore, with his knowledge of hero epics he might be thinking sometimes it's not always about the destination but rather the journey.-WTF is up with Claires dad.. [Favorite character so far]I can't help but think he's aligned with some nefarious power/organization bent on power, destruction, and/or global domination.-What's Micahs powers.I'm thinking his powers haven't really developed yet. Surely most the characters' powers didn't blossom until later in life (puberty or so?). Or maybe he is missing some stressing situation in which his powers will come to the forefront. I'm guessing it's gonna be something to do with intelligence and technology/computers, like direct mind to machine interface. -What's Suresh role now?I'm betting he'll go back to India and discover a lost journal or something that proves crucial in the development of the 9th wonders.-In the painting where Peter is controlling the locker doors in the air, whose power is he using?Maybe Micah's as of yet unseen power?A few ideas I've thought of also is that there might be some answers in Papa Sureshs urn, and the symbol must be the symbol of evolution. And a pretty obvious theory is that Sylar steals peoples brain for their powers._This show is worse then drugs.

-Why's Nikkis alter ego against the walk through walls guy?
I think Niki's alter ego is an rip off of DL's personality, before he decided to go clean. It explains why she knew where to bury people, what contacts were needed to clean the money etc.
-Why doesn't Hiro just teleport to New York.
Well he hasn't shown that he can teleport multiple people and he wants to take Andokun with him. That and based off reading the Hiro blog, he talks about still learning to use his powers which they also show by him reading comic books for guidance.
-WTF is up with Claires dad.. [Favorite character so far]-What's Micahs powers.
Dunno what you mean about Claire's dad, his role is pretty shrouded right now but based off his reaction to the message about saving the cheerleader he is clearly not a bad person. I think he does care about Claire. I'm glad they outted the friendly neighbor as working with him, it was becoming painfully obvious.Micah's powers haven't been disclosed yet, the only thing that we know is he will develop some sort of power. He is highly intelligent, so probably something along those lines.
-What's Suresh role now?
He goes back to India, and somethign is going to tip him off to come back. He still has an important role to play.
-In the painting where Peter is controlling the locker doors in the air, whose power is he using?
I wasn't really clear what that painting was, but if it is of Peter controlling some lockers then it could be him syphoning Sylars powers that were on display in Episode 2. He obviously has some form of telekensis. There was a cop pinned to the ceiling with a chair.
A few ideas I've thought of also is that there might be some answers in Papa Sureshs urn, and the symbol must be the symbol of evolution. And a pretty obvious theory is that Sylar steals peoples brain for their powers._This show is worse then drugs.
I doubt there is anything in the Urn. And yes it's clear Sylar has some use for the brains.

Why did Niki go get the suitcase while DL was still there? He was about to leave to try to clear his name right? Also, Niki's alter ego was the one that trashed the poker game players where Hiro and Ando were - lucky Ando saw the gunClaire's Dad might be a good guy - he's had opportunities to kill some of the heroes already but hasn't. Maybe he could be like Xavier.

I think he is still the prime suspect in killing Mohinder's father. While we are getting glimpses of a decent guy, lets not forget the kidnapping, memory wipes, lies, theft, and the other shady actions he has been involved with.

I definitely see Claire's dad as more of a Magneto character. One who has the tendency towards good intentions but is just blinded by emotion. There is definitely something we dont know about him yet. Who he works for, and why he hasnt yet 'studied' Claire. The bio-parents farce from last nights episode really makes me think he is trying to set something in motion that revolves around claire but im just not sure what it is. I dont know if its a gathering of heroes for destruction or maybe building an army of heroes. Im not sure. Claire clearly is the crux of the heroes though and holds more importance than her healing ability. If you think of Xmen and the fact that so much 'drama' surrounds Wolverine because of his healing ability. It seems that is what the writer's are going for here. maybe she will be a pawn for speeding up the evolution process or, as wolverine was intended, to be a Weapon X of sorts. Anyway so many possibilities and the fact that future Hiro has a sword and seems to be in 'battle' mode, only suggests a great struggle outside of saving the world from the 'bomb'. Its seems that is only the first step. Sorry 'Lost', you just got one upped for the best show on television.

Apparently the guy who writes the show has never read X-men, so I don't think he is really basing the show off that. My guess is the importance of the cheerleader right now being that if Sylar gets a hold of her and is able to take her power he will become unstoppable with the healing ability and his other apparent powers. He also could have studied Claire like he did Matt, and just have her mind wiped by his nameless associate.

Well I dont claim to know the writers or what they have or havent read, but the similarities to xmen are undeniable. Maybe he saw one of the 3 multimillion dollar blockbuster films instead of reading the comics, who knows. The great thing about heroes is that it has something familiar that attracts viewers but something mysterious that keeps them coming back.

No, Keifer rules. And the new web comic is up, shows Niki's alter ego taking the job with DL's crew, using her super strength to rip open a safe, and then killing off his crew and getting the two million laundered.
