sb2cakm 0
if you have AQ for example, and flop comes AAQ, can you say that you have the nuts since you know that quads are not possible, or would you have to say AA to say you have the nuts
CzechRazor 0
you have the nuts because you have to consider your own hole cards.
Hoosierdaddy 0
AQ is the nuts, nothing can beat it on that street.
MyPlayIsRAB 0
because of your hole cards yo have the nuts. the absolute nuts would be AA
burgerman 0
You don't have the absolute nuts since it could be possible for a straight flush to be in play. Burgerman

CzechRazor 0
You don't have the absolute nuts since it could be possible for a straight flush to be in play. Burgermanyou mean someone could be drawing to it. OP still has the nuts until the board makes it possible for that to exist.

CzechRazor 0
there is another way to lose besides the straight flush ...yes, someone with a pocket pair could hit runner runner quads, but OP's question relates to the flop so all of these posts are just silly. sb2cakm 0
since we're listing all the possibilities, AK could hit the K to make aces full of kings.
Balloon guy 158
I think a fold may be the best move here considering all the hands that could beat us.Better safe than sorry.

OP flopped the nuts, there are no 2 ways about it. he FLOPPED the nuts, turn and river are a different story.you're silly .... why are you so mean ..... miiiiiissssss CzechRazor pulled my hair by the swings and then he pee'd on the slide ....and just to be clear the OP was not as specific as you think, re-read his first post and you will see why I say that.I have never flamed you in any post, don't make me start now B)P.S. Your avatar is awesome btw. What the OP is saying is a common noob question. He is saying that since he flopped the best possible hand can it still be the considered the nuts even though the best possible hand, not including his hole cards would be AA. OP is just confused. And it seems like you are too! :)He flopped the nuts, period. There is no turn and river in this scenario.

Socrates 0
OP - to answer your question; you have the stone cold nuts. DOn't listen to ppl talking about draws, the nuts is the nuts - with their logic the only hand that is the nuts is a flopped royal flush. Rule being if there is no hand that can beat you at that time you have the nuts, no two ways about it.
