From what i know about these bots you have to program them yourself so if you are not a computer guy dont even try. Further it is very hard to program a winning bot even at the micro levels. My advice is that you could make more money using the time to study and program a bot to study poker. You would most likely make more money this way. And yes if you get cuaght using a bot your account will be banned and your funds will be withheld. If you did try to do this it would probably better to do it at a smaller site. Id say that .01% of all bots actually make money at .5-1. And the guys who program these are some of the best in the world.All that being said, if you had a break even bot at .5-1 and had a sweet rakeback deal you could make alot of money.I think from my research when i was looking into a bot....bots sell for what they should make you in about 5-7 years at limits no higher than 1-2. This is assuming of course you dont get caught and in order to have an operating bot you must have 2 pc's. So at best a bot can make 2000 a year and this is probably playing 40-50 hours a week. If you cant make more than that playing 1-2 yourself...well than you should just give up poker!Party poker I know for sure has measure to counteract bots. About every 2 hours they make you type in a code to verify you are a real player. Abot cannot do this.And yes I would kill to play any bot at 5-10.
