coesillian 0
so I badly need a goalie in one of my fantasy pools. Only wins and shutouts count (points league)available goalies are:BudajLethonenLegaceMasonKolzigSmithLabarberaBernierThomasFenandezSo I'd like to get Budaj but Im pretty sure a guy with a higher waiver choice is taking him. Is there a clear choice between Fernandez and Thomas?

Is there a clear choice between Fernandez and Thomas? It seems so far as though they'd get equal playing time. But I'm not 100%, they could give Manny more time to start the year to get him back in form since the injury, and I expect if one of them goes cold and the other hot, the other will get more time. But so far it appears to be 50/50.

Zach6668 513
Legace is a sure fire starter, so he's a good bet. I like Mike Smith there as well.

coesillian 0
I whish upon the Bruins this year that Michael Ryder scores 14G and 17A this season.
Speed Limit 0
EHHH everything I've read tells me Legace will be splitting a lot more time than we think with Mason. Lehtonen is very injury prone but not really too much pushing behind him, i dunno it's a tough call.

troyomac 0
Keep your eyes open for Blake Wheeler this year. He's had a great preseason!
troyomac 0
Bruins win!!!We got outshot 39-20, and looked pretty bad at times, but there were some upsides to the game (especially 2 points for the W).Thomas - looked great, came up huge numerous times throughout the game.Wheeler - First goal of his NHL career in the first period, and looked great on a line with Krejci and KobasewRyder- Got the monkey off his back with a goal in the first game, let's see him get back to good form this year!Sturm-Bergeron-Kessel - this line is fast, Bergeron had 2 breakaways already, ended up with 2 assists. Kessel with a goal. This line is going to be huge for us this season.Lucic/Yelle/Thornton - this is our checking line, but they had some good chances. Yelle not known for point production, could have had a couple of assists easily last game. I look forward to some production from these hard working checkers!Defence- these guys proved themselves last season. It was a bit rough last night but I have faith that Claude will get them back to old form as soon as possible. We are a defensive minded team, with an explosive offense. What a season this is going to be!Manny is starting tonight against his old team, the Wild. He looked good in preseason and think he will get the job done tonight.

magnus72 0
What the heck was Owen Nolan thinking? Going after Chara lol.
troyomac 0
Well that sucked. I quit watching after Minny went up 4-1. And then watched after we made it 4-3. Played a great first period, but Minnesota got some momentum with the late period goal and took complete control in the 2nd period. Pretty disappointing game after we came out flying. I guess it ended on an ok note with 2 more goals, but doesn't really matter since we lost. Up next, we face the Habs on Wednesday.
magnus72 0
I thought for sure it was going into overtime. Only time all year I will cheering against the Bruins I swear. I am liking Minnesotas offseason moves so far 2G and an assist I think for three of them.
troyomac 0
I have to say it's pretty weird to go to the stats page at nhl.com and under goal leaders is a picture of Marc Savard.
Speed Limit 0
Bruins v Montreal in an hour-ish. I think Thomas will be back in net tonight. Here's to a good game, hopefully some of that playoff spark will be back.
troyomac 0
I still haven't recovered enough emotionally from the playoffs for the train wreck against the Habs again this year.
troyomac 0
Exciting game so far, but this is the worst officiating I've ever seen. Missed high stick on Montreal, missed trip on Thomas, the puck hit the net but play went on, there was a delayed penalty on Boston but they had the puck for about 5 seconds before it was called... the list will go on I'm sure since it's only the first period.
