Friend Of Mine Main Event Ending

Recommended Posts

I dont chat much on here cause since the fcp pokerroom boom things have gotten kinda nuts. This topic is a general comment/opinion/whatever you want say post. Now that the episode has been played on tv i want to know what everyone thinks about the blonde frohawk man mouthing every single play made against him. Only reason it stands out to me so much maybe is cause my friend (CLINT BROTHERTON WHO FINISHED 66TH IN THE MAIN EVENT *COUGH*) was one of his verbaly slayed victims pushing with J 8 offsuit for his tournament. Yes the hand where he called blind was on too high of a horse to flip his own cards, and had to make the dealer do it for him. Now the question portion...Why would anyone who is already making ATLEAST 80k not be able to handle a situation with more class. Few moments later mouthing Ah 10h when it was against his Q J suited. Honestly what is the story here?

The kid, Idiothair Molina, is just that...a punk kid. 21 years old and acting much less. Was his blind call good? Maybe. Was his mouth proper? No. I thought Ken Jacobs should have waited for the punk outside and stomped his little white *** into the sidewalk. Funny as all get out how his act was 100% different the next day with his mom in the stands! I bet she spanked him the night before and sent him to bed with no dinner.

i'm wondering why your buddy would move in w/ a less than average hand when he was flat out told he was going to get called with any 2. He says "I have 160 left! how could you do that" then he says "I was so short I had to move in.." Which was it? you had enough for fold equity, or too little to play with? it's not both.

comment was made before cards were dealt i believe. He saw he didnt have much left and it was a standing threat. Friend was also running low on chances to get money in to have doubling up even help. He is not one by any means to play for a better cash. He was more than aware of what he was doin.also the comment about "i only had 160" was meant as i ONLY had 160 and not 5.6mil like chipleader had

no... when Molina called him blind, he was like "are you serious? i have 160 left". The fact that the comment was made before cards were dealt is exactly the point. He was told he was getting called, He should have known he was getting called, but chose to move in with J8 anyway. Then couldn't believe when he was.. i don't get it. Molina was acting like an ***, but I give him props for calling him blind, sent a message to other people that he's not fucking around when he says something.

SO calling 160K blind with 5.6 mil is not messing around. If you're not calling with 72 there you're an idiot for not doing so. It sisn't show anything except his disrepect for the game and his inability to have self esteem. If I was the dealer there I would have just mucked his cards.

Is he an idiot for calling with any two? yes and no.It's a message to the table that says "don't mess with my big blind". It's a legitimate tactic. If I recall, blinds were 10k/20k, moving in on someone who you KNOW is going to call with J8 is a bad play. Just wait a hand or two. Is Eric Molina a ****? Most definitely, but he wasnt wrong in his assessment of that situation.
