JVick4 0
We are playing .25-.50 PL Omaha 4 handed. Player 1 is a very good loose aggressive player that has history of making big plays at pots. Player 2 is a more conservative player who plays close to the vest. Here is how the hand goes down....All four of us limp I have A K 2 8 Flop is 10 8 7 I was in the big blind, P1 was on the button and PL 2 was UTG.I check, P2 fires $2 and gets called by P1 and meTurn is 2 I check again, P2 fires $8, P1 calls, and I callRiver is 8 I check again, P2 checks, and P1 fires $25, after some deliberation I call, P2 foldsP1 had - 10 10 7 6P2 claimed he had - J 9 Q QI knew that P2 had the straight, because the way he played it. I was wanting to draw to my hand as cheaply as possible, and then the river comes and I back in to a baby full house. I honestly thought that P1 was making a play at the pot when both of us checked on the river with his $25 bet. Best case scenario, I was hoping he was betting something like 7s full.Did a make a poor call on the end, even though it was a crying call? Could I have gotten away from it? Could I have played the hand any different? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Jarrett

SpiderGuard 0
Fold on the turn...no way you call that bet. Also, re-read Super System II. Many mistakes in this one that will be fixed by a good reading session.
alf13 0
Vick...You gotta learn to count your outs. You recieved alot of info from the play of this hand that reduced your effective outs and increased your "death" cards. You got what you needed to know from the play of the hand. You were drawing paper thin with one card to come.A nice little fold on the turn would have been okay.
