Stars Sunday Million

Recommended Posts

So I need some advice. I won me a seat into the Stars Sunday Million. The problem is, the buy-in for the tournament would account for roughly 1/10th my current bankroll. To make matters worse, most of my bankroll was tied up in the Mansion bet, and until I get the wire transfer from Mansion and deposit it back into my PS account, it would account for double my current bankroll.Assuming we ignore the Mansion money shuffle and consider it to be 1/10th my current bankroll, I still feel it would be playing outside my bankroll - and the tournament dollars would be better spent in ten $20 180 SNG's or whatever. I worry that I would play scared and not do well in it at all, feeling even worse about the decision. What would you do? What should I do...- Crash

Sell the T$. You can always play another week when you've built more of a roll. Just like your situation, I won a $530 seat yesterday to the wcoop. I sold the seat instead because I think it's the smarter thing to do in my bankroll-situation.There'll be plenty more Sunday Millions.

Then don't play. Or, what I would do, sack up, don't play scared, and make a run at increasing your bankroll by a factor of 100 in one tournament.

i say take the $T. I've won these Sunday satelittes multiple times and have never played in the tourney b/c my bankroll is never more than 1k (I cash out) and like u it seems to me too much to invest. the main thing is, as you say, u shouldn't play unless u can play it as u would a $5 or $10 MTT--with little regard for busting, getting caught bluffing etc.--because u will have to have the sickest card rush of your life to make any significant money otherwise.

If you play tournaments on a regular basis DO NOT sell T$. Selling T$ is one of the most worthless things anyone can do. It's just hugely -EV. I say take the T$.
and use the t$ for your sngsMy friend took his 215 T$ and ended up winning like 400 in sngs bc he didnt thinkn he would do well in the million

I would agree. if you cannot play your A game then it will be hard to do well.

QFT... If you don't know what your'e going to do with it, then don't play sats.
That is a very stupid response. Think about the payout structure of some of these MTT's, and then look at how many people get seats in the sats. It does make sense to play these, even if you're not sure whether or not you want to play in the event.
