king1305 0
Dear Lord that game involved a wide range of emotions.Around halftime I thought Tomlin might bench Ben in favor of Byron ala the Eagles and McNabb, but he stuck with him (which I guess is what you do with the face of the franchise and $100M QB) and it paid off in the end. Thanks Tony! Was Jessica Simpson spotted in the stadium?I called the pick sick except I said it was going to be Mr. Swagga himself Ike Taylor.
Graydon 0
GG Steelers. Cowboys fan here, but gotta give credit to the winning team in an entertaining game.
ReraiseAllIn 0
What a game...Baltimore next week can't wait. The stage is set for next week, this matchup is going to be epic. I just hope the two teams don't pound each other out of playoff contention (granted one/both will still make it regardless of the outcome, but injuries sustained next week could be disasterous for either team). dEv~ 19
I called the pick sick except I said it was going to be Mr. Swagga himself Ike Taylor.Ike Taylor couldn't catch a cold. Seriously he's dropped probably double digit possible interceptions this year. He's definitely no Polamalu when it comes to INTs.He's a good corner when he's matched up 1v1 against top wideouts...but he struggles when thinking is involved. If you ever heard him talk you'd think he belongs in the Special Olympics.

If you ever heard him talk you'd think he belongs in the Special Olympics.I don't really care what he sounds like, as long as he continually shuts down the opposing teams best receiver week in and week out, he can be a mute, have a lisp, or talk unintelligibly. And doesn't the saying go if corners could catch they'd be wide receivers?Swagga.P.S. lol at me typing "pick sick" instead of "pick six"
dEv~ 19
And doesn't the saying go if corners could catch they'd be wide receivers?Ike is a good corner. He could be a genius for all I know but from what I heard from him makes it seem like his elevator doesn't quite goto the top floor. I wouldn't have a problem with it but it seems to show sometimes on the field. The other receivers can sometimes get into his head and cause him to take stupid penalties or just play extra aggressive leading him to get burnt. As for the WR saying yes I agree. I'm not expecting him to be Jerry Rice or Troy Palamalu. I'm just asking him to at least step up to a level just below Nate Washington. (who definitely also drops his share)

vonteego3 0
Oh God. That's who you should be mad at for dropping balls, Nate!!Nate has had a few drops this year, but his hands have improved dramatically over the last few years. He's a top 2 receiver on a whole bunch of teams. And he's got a passion for the game that Steelers fans love... him jumping up and stomping his feet after hurting his ankle last week is gonna be one of the most memorable moments of the season. Just not acceptable.AFC NORTH CHAMPS!!!!!WATCH OUT TENNESSEE!!! Home field advantage will be on the line next week in Nashville! Well if Tennessee wins they'll have it but if they lose the Steelers will be able to clinch it vs. Cleveland in week 17.

ReraiseAllIn 0
That TD call was extremely questionable. While the reciever did have his feet in initially, the ball had not crossed the plane once he had possession. There was not enough evidence to overturn the call on the field and basically decide the game. Granted, you may have scored on 4th and inches and settled it then, but then we can blame ourselves for that. Either that, or we could be in OT right now. Its a shame such a great game was decided in what is going to be a debated manner.See you guys in the playoffs. Though I hope you lose to the Titans next week so when we meet again it will be in the AFC Championship, as opposed to the 2nd round if you all get the #1 seed.

The Ravens are tied with pretty much the entire AFC East and while one of those teams will win the division, the other 2 will be fighting for that wild card. At Dallas and vs. Jaguars isn't gonna be easy either. It depends when you you think he had possession. Had he bobbled it I'd agree with you. It does suck that such a close call ended up deciding the game. I wonder what they would have done on 4th and an inch though if they didn't get that call.

But, 89 yrd drive is on the Ravens Def. The Steelers are clearly the better team though. They have fought through the toughest schedule since 1976 NY Giants and they are 11-3. Everytime you think they are tired they dig deep and get the win. Say what you will about Big Ben but all the kid does is win games. 5 yrs 50 wins best ever in that stat. At Dallas and vs. Jaguars isn't gonna be easy either. We have a superior conference record to all of the AFC East Teams, and a head to head tiebreaker against the Dolphins. At Dallas is my primary concern of our two games remaining, I like our chances at home against the Jags. It is pretty clear they are not the same team that beat you guys in Steeltown twice last year. If the Pats can beat Arizona and Buffalo, which is likely, they're 11-5. That means the Ravens MUST win their last 2 to make the playoffs.

I went to a branch campus in Pittsburgh and had Pitt season tickets during that time. I'm not sure what I'd do if they'd play each other but I'll root for both teams equally otherwise.Damn what a game ! We just need to concentrate on winning Saturday and then take it from there. The Jets barely beat the Bills today (some would argue the Bills largely beat themselves), NE nearly lost to Seattle last week, and the Chiefs have been playing better recently (though ultimately still failing). We control our destiny, but its nice having outs.
king1305 0
While the call was close, I'm extremely confident that the officials got it right. The football only has to touch the field of play edge of the goal line to be considered in the endzone and I believe that Santonio had complete control the entire time, including the split-second that the ball was over the goal line. fryer98 30
This and that...- The spike to stop the clock on 1st down with 50+ seconds left was TERRBILE.- The call on Jef Reed for pushing....really? Just heard on the radio that the Ravens player spit in Mitch Berger's face, which is why Reed pushed him.- They should have been showing Ray Lewis' missed tackles which showing his sack 23453534 times during the game.- Nate either drops the ball or makes a big play, no in between.- Holmes needs to start smokin' weed again.- #79 was confused!?!?! WTF?!?!? HAHA, we were all lovin' that by the ref.- I think everyone (Ravens fans included) have to agree that it was a TD...but there was no indisputable evidence to show it.- Flacco had a 22.2 rating. Ben's was 81.9.
