SBriand 4 Posted September 7, 2006 Author Share Posted September 7, 2006 ALLEN PARK -- Detroit Lions assistant coach Joe Cullen was on the job as usual Thursday, one day after reports surfaced that he had been charged in two alcohol-related driving offenses within the last two weeks.Cullen, 38, is in his first season as the Lions' defensive line coach.Cullen interacted with players and other coaches during the period of practice that was open to the media.Coach Rod Marinelli was not immediately available for comment.Marinelli talks to the media after practice.Lions players expressed support for Cullen."We support him, no question," said defensive tackle Marcus Bell. "It could have happened to me. It could have happened to anybody. It's behind us. We're glad to have him here. That's the bottom line."It could have happened to any of us?? Really?
