Now that's what I call a chip lead - almost 2/3rds of the chips in play and six times the closest stack. I think the good news is that when this gets televised Daniel is going to be playing every hand. With everyone else fairly clustered together he's going to be raising almost every hand. If you ever wanted to learn how to play 7-2 offsuit just watch the broadcast.

Many people have posted topics on this forum regarding what makes someone a poker pro... I think that Daniel has illustrated just what that is.... I believe that his play has spoken for itself.Congrats and good luck with the rest of the Tournament...

Enjoying this immensely. One thing I personally would like to mention, is to THANK Daniel and Chris for the updates. Chris for keeping us up to date, and especially Daniel for making the phone calls to Chris, which he doesn't have to do, but it keeps all of us fans up to date, so we can celebrate with him.THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU.Jeff

Congrats Daniel on a well deserved POTY honor and on your great play to achieve this honor, I've never heard of a player slumping the way you were only to play such a critical tournament as well as you have. It truly shows the heart of a champion. Congrats once again, we were all pulling for you and will be for you to win the tournament.

We need a poker channel to cover these tournys...not just the espn highlight hands. You cant learn very much from watching due to the editing. It is very nice that Daniel and his website guy are keeping us up to date.best of luck

If you've been reading Daniel's journal, it makes this performance even more remarkable. My friends thought that he was full of it when he said it, but I guess its true. He is on top of his game when the stage is the biggest. He said he felt good and now he is going off and doing his thing. When Daniel's on top of it, is there anyone in the world better at making reads than he is :?: Again, congrats. Does the casino have a live feed over the internet or no?

That's what I call a chip lead. Daniel's just taking out all the big names. I was hoping to see Chan and Habib on the final table, but we'll still get to see Jennifer and Humberto. Of course, they may not be around long with the way Daniel's going. Finish it off tomorrow, man.

Congrats to Daniel. And I think it's been said - but this community is awesome and it feels like Daniel did it for himself but for us as well. Now I am looking forward to 2005...Is it too soon to be excited for back to back player of the year performances?
