Live O8 Is Soft

Recommended Posts

Went to the muckleshoot casino in washington yesterday and it was nice. The poker room was pretty crowded with lots of players waiting and like 16 tables going on. I signed up for O8 and 4/8 HE with a kill. I was down about 70 at 4/8 when the omaha game finally got going. In a little less than two hours i made over 300 at omaha 4/8. I only wish i could have stayed longer. The only other player that really knew what they were doing at the table was this 45 year old lady who kept getting hoggers and 3/4 people, she was up like 400 or more in the same amount of time.Anyway i had never played live omaha before and it was insanely fun. NObody really knows how to play that well and they draw to the dumbest things. I plan on making more trips out that way. :club:

I've been saying this for months. It can get a little frustrating b/c nobody at the table knows how to play the game, and there can be some massive suckouts (that are very costly in the kill pots), but over time if you know anything you're gonna get all the mobney in these games.

Ive recently become totally addicted to Omaho HiLo. Ive started going to my local cardroom on Saturday instead of Sunday just so I have the chance at getting into an Omaha game. Its absolutely disturbing to see some of the crap that people play, and wonder why the hell they can never make a winning hand.Something Ive also noticed is that EVERYONE seems to want to make a low. I dont know what it is, but they will always draw to the low no matter what.Best of luck.

Why wouldn't you want to draw to your 76432 lo? that's the nuts man! They don't offer it in windsor, so I got to wait till that 21st bday to play it live around here.

Actually they will spread it at Casino Windsor if there's a big enough demand. Just ask the card room manager and he'll put it on the board...if enough people sign up they'll start a table.
