TeeSludge 0
I had a much better session yesterday and I will definetely put in decent session tonight. Still haven't flopped a set yet this week in live poker but I guess that makes up for the 2000 I flopped last week at Taj.
TheCorporation3 0
I had a much better session yesterday and I will definetely put in decent session tonight. Still haven't flopped a set yet this week in live poker but I guess that makes up for the 2000 I flopped last week at Taj.Although sometimes flopping a set is bad, lol. I was playing a live 3-6, flopped a set of 7's on an A-10-7 board. Perfect board for a set, hoping he has an AK, AQ or maybe A 10. River K. Guy calls all the way, 4 bets on turn, flips up QJ. Sometimes sets aren't good, lol. (Just kididng, I know you want the call when he is drawing to 4 outs, it just sucked because this was my first time playing live in the last 2 weeks, since I've been grinding online poker.) Zach6668 513
I haven't been playing too too much this week.I had two really bad days at the cash game tables, probably the cash out curse, lol.Had a 5 buyin downswing in a matter of a couple of hours, definitely some tilt in there, which is a pretty brutal leak, that only ended up in me being down 2.5 buyins on the day, but obviously wrecked the 2.5 buyin profit I had.The next day was the same thing, pretty much break even at the cash tables though.I have put in a couple small sessions since then, but not too much.I cashed out enough earlier in the week to pay off my car repairs, so I'm pretty much just building my BR at this point. With a little over half the month left, I'd like to win between 1700 and 2200, if possible, and get a little stash built up for when/if I quit my job to focus on school/poker.Anyways, here's to the rest of the month being + for everybody.- Zach

CobaltBlue 662
Although sometimes flopping a set is bad, lol.Yeah, try being on the bad end the last four times oversets have come into play. =/Oh, and in happy news, a nice business deal just went through, so no more living off of poker for the next year. I can just concentrate on building my BR instead of pillaging from it.

iggymcfly 0
Wow, I forgot how much fun LHE could be. I hopped into a couple 30/60 games tonight, and I'm up almost 50 BB in less than half an hour. I might have to go back to playing this more regualrly. I've been running kinda cold in the Stud games lately, so I could use something to change things up a little bit.
Zach6668 513
This week, I've had a 5 buyin downswing/tilt, and just now, a nice 6 buyin downswing/tilt session.Yay for poker.I'm playing MTT's for the rest of the night, barring a significant cash, it's back to $50 NL for a bit... Are you good at any other games? I find once that tilt pattern starts with NL cash games, it tends to keep going for a while unless you switch up what you play.

I find once that tilt pattern starts with NL cash games, it tends to keep going for a while unless you switch up what you play.I think that's about the same with me and every game I've ever played.I always plateau at some point.I'm playing some MTT's at the moment, but I'll be trying to get back to NL cash tomorrow prolly. Jordan 1
-$3k in cash games-$2k in MTTs this month (zero cashes, good times). So, I'm stuck $5k with two weeks left in the month. Been here, done that. Looks like I'll be working towards just breaking even on the month. I played 1k and 2knl this month a few times, when the games were good, and I just took sick and stupid beats. I have been no matter where I play...but I'm just gonna keep grinding $400nl and get back to even this month (cash game wise).Im actually surprised I'm only stuck 3k in cash games this month, sparing I can't get a 4:1 favorite to hold, or 10:1.So, screw it. I'll keep getting it in with the best of it (or push into sets repeatedly) and see what happens.GL2U all.I'm gonna have a vindictive run at this $5k. LOL.- Jordan

Zach6668 513
15 buy ins is a sick amount to win in a day.I thought you were playing higher games what happened to the bankroll? He had to cash out, and his parents don't want him playing poker while he's in school. So, they offered to pay for school if he doesn't play, so he secretly got $50 online, and is working it up. I think he's at like $3k. He's a phucking machine.
aucu 3
Mid September and at last I’m +ve for the month. The swings have been wild and I expect them to get worse.I just can’t seem to stick with a plan, my original plan to play mostly NL games got turfed after a downswing, then it was to limit full ring games, which are just fine but now I’m on to the short handed limit games and that is what got me out of the red but will make for even worse swings. Not taking things too seriously, just having a little fun. Won’t be playing much this weekend, too many other things to do.
