TheMick 0
I was into poker before Rounders, before I had even heard of Rounders. If gave me an appreciation for understanding other games besides Hold 'Em, but other than that, it only made me ask one question: Why in hell didn't Mike beat the living **** out of Worm after that Stud game?Seriously, Mike's doing fine, and Worm ****s it all up. Screw Gramma and KGB killing them, if I were Mike, I would've made what they do seem like a wet dream.Yeah, I got into poker from this game "Dragon Warrior/Quest IV". They had a casino in it, and a "Poker" game. Basically, it was 5 card draw video poker. I learned the hands from there. After that, I fooled around with my friends, nothing serious.I used to like Seven Card Stud, my brother showed me Hold 'Em, and I was like "...Why? It's like a wussy stud game. Oooh look, we have 2 cards and everyone gets a bunch..." Now...Yeah, Stud's game number 5.....

My big complaint about Rounders that I just realized, and it literally makes me throw up in my mouth everytime I see it, who the hell calls "time" when they're making a decision?? I knew it was dumb when I first saw it and now when I see it, I know it's even more dumb.
thehidden 0
I used to play weird crazy 8 games and poker with my brother long time ago, then nothing for a while until a bar tender i worked with told me about rounders and SS and online stuff. i made a deposit and donked around a bit then on my last 20 bucks and while watching rounders for the first time i won my first MTT (only liek 30 entrants though).Rounders is good because of sentimentality, the actors are solid, Ed Norton and John Malkovich are two of my favorites.Btw: don't knock Damon, now that Ben is out on his own who do you think Matt hires when he needs collections!!Ira
ogmaster 0
Just thought of another thing that annoyed me now when I watch the movie. If you keep reraising a pro and then go all, and he folds, seriously you're not that special. All pros have folded to amateurs when they've been reraised multiple times in their lifetime.
