Prop Bets?

Im sure you all have seen high stakes poker on gsn. What are prop bets?? you see everyone looking at a sheet of paper and writing stuff down. What are some of the things on that paper???thanks

prop bets are side bets. Generally players are betting on what will come on the flop. Players have certain numbers and suits, and the more they come the more they win. Its =EV

are all the numbers and suits picked before the session starts???it seems like it would be hard to keep track of.

For a prop bet, I did a standing backflip off of the roof of my house (about 20 feet).Landed it and got myself $2K for it. Scary as ****, but I won it.

Some of the players in my game do a bunch of prop bets. It certainly slows the game down a ton. It's amazing, though, to see someone drop three buy ins playing poker and win that much in silly prop betting.
