I'm sure you'll find a lot of keen players there, probably lotsa fish as well (I could be wrong about the quality of poker in the military, I'm going to assume it's as bad as the general public). With that in mind, perhaps invest $100 in a poker chip set and several deck of cards that you can use over in Iraq.

Atheism is an extreme. I think the OP falls into my Agnostic group, as do the majority of non-believers. As far the quick bankroll build, you have 2 months(November, correct?). Give yourself a little space for variance. If you have 480 now, I would say 100NL, $20-30 MTTs, $50 Sngs, or 5-10SHLE, depending on your best game. Pump it up to 1K, then go for broke. So, here's the deal. I'm leaving for Iraq in about 2 months. I've become insanely bored with poker, and dwindled my bankroll down to $330 from about $1500 via a visit to a great strip club in Niagara and transferring the rest into my TDAmeritrade account.With my remaining bankroll (or 'roll, as the cool kids call it), I'm looking to take a few risks to try to turn it into a good bit more so I can pamper my dogs while I'm in the desert, or even pay off my truck before I go. Beyond the "put it all on black" suggestion that someone will inevitably throw out, I'm looking for suggestions. A bunch of 24+2 guaranteeds on FT? a bunch of 40Ks on Party? Sitting with it all at a $500 max NL table? playing in a few big 100+9 tourneys? Let me know what crosses your mind... only good ideas and those suggested by a special few respected posters will be considered... I've already checked, and blowing it all on a hooker here isn't worth it.

I said it was an extreme because it's actually the belief that a god DOES NOT exist. Believing that something is not true is more extreme than not knowing, and not really caring. The bottom line is you can't prove it one way or the other. In any case, no need to get all pissy.
