Just Wanted To Say I Love My New 20 Inch 1600x1200 Resolution Lcd Monitor

Recommended Posts

Four tabling is so easy now. I don't know how i ever did it without. I also have a dual monitor hook up now but I'm using this second screen to surf the net and check out this forum. Unfortunatley, my second screen is only 19 inches with 1280 by 1024 resolution so I get overlap when I multitable. I got this one a few months ago to replace my old thickass CRT but did not do my research before buying. I was disappointed when I still got overlap. Now that I've gotten one monitor with 1600 x 1200 resolution, I'm tempted to get another one to replace this one I'm using so that I can 8 table. I just feel it's a waste to not use this one though since I bought it very recently. Anyways, this is a midnight rant so don't flame me too much.

Yeah, I would never be able to go back from 1600x1200. Did you end up buying the monitor I suggested or did you get something else?
I think I bought something else. Samsung syncmaster 204B. Think I might pick up one more. Screw the 19 inch one, I'll just take it as a loss.
Dratj I have a 24 inch Dell flat screen, and w/ Poker Stars resizable tables I can actually (12) table :club: Its pretty sweet. Enjoy !
Sweet. That must have set you back about $800. I personally don't like resizable tables because they just are hard to read and they just don't look good. You 12 table? that's awesome. I'm guessing you are a limit player.
A pic would be nice.
Sadly, i'm embarrased to note that I don't know how to do that.
how do you hook up two monitors ? and can u hook up two lap tops at all ?
That's easy. I took my tower to a comp. store and they just installed a new video card for me that allows dual monitor hookup. I don't know about the lab tops.

lol no Im not suggesting I actually 12 table...I just said that I COULD. Ive opened up 12 tables before just to do it and its possible I suppose, but I would go crazy. The most I do is 3 sometimes 4 if I am feelin it. And hellll no I'm no limit player I would fall asleep trying to multi table limit...zzzz :club:

Yah, I'm mainly a nl player too. Sometimes I'll play limit if I've been getting a lot of bad beats and sick of losing my whole stack to a donkey call. However, I kinda suck at limit so I try to stick mainly to nl. Besides limit is boring and I love playing the implied odds in nl.

Multitabling limit is MUCH harder than multitabling NL.AINEC.

I have a "17 inch laptop and it has the overlap which sucks, so I bought a monitor and hooked that up to the laptop and now it is very simple to play 4 tables without any overlapping at all. As far as 2 laptops I have no idea.

Depends on what you are good at I think. I agree with the above statement because I stink at limit but a misclick or a mistake is less costly in limit. After all, it's only costing you one big bet at showdown to see your opponents cards most times.
