lvpro 0
um... buy a 360... problem solved.Buying a 360 would make it so I couldn't do the fantasy draft, thus meaning the problem is not solved. I'll buy it for my Xbox, and there will be no problem.so...um...no.

Jeepster80125 0
From http://www.giantmag.com/2006/08/games/ten-...y-madden-sucks/Ten Reasons Why Madden SucksWell, first of all, I love Madden. The football game, I mean. I play it for more hours than any other game by about a factor of 50:1, even though I always play as the New York Jets. And for an overall value of $50 (or $60 if you’re a 360 gamer), the cost per hour is somewhat ridiculously cheap. Nevertheless, let’s be honest: the game can be improved. And here are the ways how.• Get some competition. EA’s locked up the NFL license for videogames for the foreseeable future, and now they’re sitting fat and pretty in Madden’s giant land-cruiser. Lack of competition makes people soft: Microsoft needs Apple. Nintendo needed Sega. Remember how much better life was when the NFL 2K series existed? First of all, Madden stole some of 2K’s gameplay, like its wonderful secondary controls. Now who’s gonna come up with all the new ideas? Instead, we’re sitting around every year playing basically the same game with updated rosters, and a few tweaks.• New playbooks! Why does it feel like the playbooks of Madden, while pretty damn good, just don’t change that much from year to year—even when teams change their head coaches and coordinators? Base packages and a handful of special plays will only carry you so far. I demand customizable playbooks and a place online where players can download player-created plays, keeping the game forever fresh.• Play Dirty! The NFL has drug addicts, cheap shots, suspensions, showboating, and fines nearly every week. There should be a special place reserved for the Romo-type hits, the career-threatening injuries leveled senselessly by idiots, the signing of autographs in the end zone. If it’s in the game, it’s in the game…right, EA?• Fix the Crowds. In the real world, crowds go nuts when their teams are winning, drown out the other team’s quarterback’s signal-calling when he’s trying to pull off a 3rd and long. And when they’re losing, the fans throw ice-balls and batteries. In Madden-land, everyone sounds like those waterfall-noise-making sleep machines from Sharper Image. Let’s get some real crowd momentum.• Betting. OK, maybe this is impossible. But I’d like to wager cold, hard cash on online games, and put a little something meaningful on the outcome. There are still too many folks who drop after they’re down 40-10…but that would certainly change when the rent money’s on the line. Oh, how I dream of emptying the piggy bank of that twelve-year-old jackass who keeps trash-talking my family every time I go three-and-out. The new ‘07 Madden does allow the wagering of “Gamer Points,” but come on! Make it Xbox Live Marketplace points, at the very least. You know you want to, EA.• Cut out Madden’s tongue. Every time Madden speaks one of his fortune-cookie pieces of useless advice when I call a draw play, I want to cut off my ears. If my memory doesn’t deceive me, I do believe Madden must have recorded fifteen stock comments about seven years ago which EA has been using ever since.• Fix the animation. The first time your cornerback reaches from behind to swat down a pass using his ESP-like sixth sense of the ball, it might look neat. But the 80th time just reminds you that all the animations are motion-captured as opposed to being generated with actual physics. Once in while we’d like to be surprised, which is impossible after the tenth game.• Full 52-player online games. Maybe I’m high. But it would be an interesting experiment to play an online game where each person controlled one player only. One guy’s quarterback, another’s wide receiver, this guy’s the center, she’s the tight end…if the number of players went high enough, maybe you’d be the second-string quarterback, just hoping for the first guy to go down so you could show your stuff. Obviously that’s a stupid idea, but cooperative gameplay would be a cool area to explore. Because, let’s be honest…football’s a team sport, and being one guy controlling an eleven-man defense sometimes doesn’t make any sense. Especially from a D standpoint, having one person control the line, a second control the linebackers, and a third cover the secondary would seem like an awfully interesting idea.• Fold Head Coach into Madden. This year, EA’s NFL head-coaching sim NFL Head Coach introduced a full off-season of assistant hiring, training drills, and a full-on NFL Draft war-room. They’re all nice additions, but they should be added to Madden’s franchise mode instead of being foisted off on a new title. This is exactly the sort of in-depth stuff that makes a yearly game update worthwhile. And finally…• $10 game update downloads from Xbox Live. You know, the technology exists to take that about-to-be-obsolete copy of Madden ‘06 and add this year’s rosters changes and schedules, all for a modest fee. It’s called Xbox Live Marketplace, and it’s a shame EA doesn’t allow people to make their old games new again. I guess they’re afraid everyone won’t pay another $50 for this year’s iteration. Well, they would…if the game were significantly improved every year (see above).

runthemover 39
Lots of words. blah blah blah. You said some very good stuff and other things I don't care about at all.Crowds. Don't care. Gameplay is what matters.Head Coach/Madden. Could be wrong but I remember reading that you can move your team over to Madden and play with them there. This might have been just an idea though.52 player online. This would be good if controls for certain positions were more advanced. Running routes is fun, throwing the ball, running with the ball. But if you were a blocker/O-line guy you need more controls. Definitely a good idea though.

Jadaki 0
I haven't bought a Madden game since the old Sega Genisis system, I liked the NFL2k series better when it was out and since then just been playing the college football games. But since I have a modded Xbox, I rented it last night and tossed it on there. I like the fantasy draft, exp since you can exploit the crap out of it. The hall of fame mode looks fun too. SBriand 4
I was a Madden whore up until NKL 2K5. Sadly that has gotten outdated and it's time to move on. Sadly it will be a Madden 07 game that has been getting some not-so-great reviews from people.
