So $5-$20 spread you could bet anything from $5 to $20 - with standard NL style rules of raises having to be at least the size of the previous bet/raise. Link to post Share on other sites

They used to charge 12 bucks an hour for NL and take a drop as well, but I haven't played the spread limit game so I don't know if they still have a hourly charge. The traditional limit games are pretty typical of a California casino, lots of action and folding is nothing but an afterthought.I really liked to play 7 stud there, but the ante in for the lower limit game (2-4) is a dollar and it is usually a bunch of old people who have a hard time reading their cards. The game can take a long, long time.I would go to The Oaks in Emeryville or San Pablo Casino in San Pablo. Link to post Share on other sites

Since Im not 21 yet Ive never played live poker but all Ive heard about low stakes limit games is that no one folds in them, so wouldnt spread limit be exactly the same thing with no one folding except slightly bigger pots? In this game you could buy in from like 60-200$ and blinds were 1-1-2, but it was 4$ to play a hand (very unusual). The game basically played like a no limit game except for the most you could bet was 200$ at a time, but then you could raise another 200$ and so on. They also had a larger game I think it was 2-2-5 spread limit, with no max buyin but still can only bet max 200$. hope that helps Link to post Share on other sites

Almost all of their tournies are spread limit. I heard they eventually turn into NL after a time, but, don't know for sure.3/100 I get, 2/5, not so much. Link to post Share on other sites
