Ok so playing 1/2 Live local casino, with a dude who looks and sounds like Humberto Brenes. But hes much worse. Im high, so I decide while my buddy plays the tourney, I'll play the cash game. I just buy in for 100, and get it up to 155 with AA. Then this hand.hero dealt K9c in BB6way flopKh Jc 8cSb checks, Hero checks, Humberto bets 5, MP1 call, MP2 Call, Button Call, Sb fold, Hero raises 45. Humberto calls, everyone folds.Okay, so in retrospect, I feel this is way to much to c/r, because Im bloating the pot OOP. Your opinions.....TURN (HU)8spot=115Whats our move? Humberto is likely to have a draw, a J or a K. He comes off as tight, but has calling station tendencies. Very odd player to play with.If we bet, how much? Thoughts/reasoning behind action.

Push you only have 105 left. Lets say you bet 50, he is certainly going to call getting 3 to 1. On top of that if you bet 50 on the turn the rest is going in on the river when you have 5 to 1 to call, so why not push here with Two pair and a K high flush draw.

Here is his range as I see it.Q-10 (preflop limp, semibluff on flop, calls the checkraise)2 clubs: same logic as Q-10Maybe JQ? Limp, feeler bet on flop, calls the raise since he has calling tendancies.K-x: Same logic as JQ.K-10: Same logic as above, except it makes more sense, since k10 is a weak players limping hand.Flopped set: Limps cheap, sends out a small bet designed for action, then decides to trap by calling ur c/r.KJ/K8: Same logic as set. You are beating 4/7 hands I would put him on, and the hands that are beating you are less likely. I think you send out a strong bet on the turn, and then see whatsup.

How does he have two pair?If I had to guess, I'm going to say fckthis is going to say check, so he can get a nice checkraise in, or get a free card.

Push.live 1/2 you're ahead and getting a call here enough to compensate for when you're behind and don't draw out. Aren't you under 21 btw?
Yes Im 18, but in Canada legal age is 18.**********************************Ok, so on the turn, I thought betting out was the most optimal play. Too bad I was high and didnt realize that betting 75 was dumb, shouldve gone all in. Humberto hums and hawes, and this means he doesnt have a K, so now I try and induce a call. It works. River AsI get it all in..for what I had left, and Humberto calls ResultsHero K9, for Kings and EightsHumberto AJ for Aces and JacksI think I played the hand horribly, but it sucks because this the 4th time inrecent memory, having a pair+fd, and losing.

He called your raise, so let's give him credit for a real hand here.He has either a king-based hand, the nut flush draw, or a big pair like QQ or TT or 99.Any set he would have reraised to try an drive out any str8 draws.Six limpers and this sort of low limit action, ... you could have someone with Tc9c, so they would be drawing to the nut flush and the open-ended str8.Kx seems likely in a passive limping environment.Smaller pairs could also play in this passive game.Since *Humberto* is in EP, let us not rule out the possibility he is slowplaying a big hand such as KK, after the board pairs, he has the table by the nuts, pardon the pun. :club: Let's not lose sight of the fact that the BB's K9 is nothing to write home about. It is only top pair with a kicker that belongs in the terminal ward of the local hospital :D .Check, since any bet will only get called by someone that has you beat.

I'm going to have to rule out someone having 9 10 of clubs considering we have the 9 of clubs..and even if they did, they arent drawing to the nut flush..We have the second nut flush..Second nut flush>10 high flushOnly move after the c/r is all in on the turn
