XXEddie 0
ok, so I have a little over $800 in my account. It started with $155 about a month ago and it has steadly risen, this week however im in rut(sp) I havent lost much, but Ive been stuck in the $850-$800 range for about 5 days now. And I was think how to try and get out of it. Now, i would take a break, but I have no friends and TV cant hold me over for that long.I generally play $10 + $1 10 man SnG but lately have been playing a lot of $10 + $.50 HU games and have been doing fairly well. Would it be dumb to take a shot at oh, say 5 $30 + $3 HU SnGs. Thats the highest level. $15 and $20 only have 10 and 5 seat tourneys
Teavis 0
Why do you want to play HU tourneys? You are risking 31.50 to win 60, or 28.50 profit. Say you are average. You win one and lose one. Only the house wins your $3. If you play SNGs and have a good ROI, try moving up to $20 SNGs, or $30s or whatever. The increased stakes, although little, should help you focus more. It sounds like you are just getting lazy and going through the motions. Do something different to make you "relove" the game.Trust me man...I've been there. You are just bored. But pacific has really horrible players and I feel that even at that level I cant beat 7 outta 10 players, especially HU. And even if I do slighty above par(say 3-2), Ill risk $165 and win $
STYLINHAWYN 0
why don't you try playing some MTT's?
XXEddie 0
why don't you try playing some MTT's?MTTs dont like me. Ive played about 7 since my last deposit, a month ago, I dont think Ive cashed in one. Most of the MTTs Pacific offers give me no chance unless I get a big hand early. Most the time Ill pick up no hands for the first 30 minutes, even if I try a bluff they dont work. And end up getting short stacked and having to push in with mediocre hands.I feel I should do well in the $100k tourney the have coming this Sunday, Im trying to satelite in now. XXEddie 0
2 1/2 hours for $15?1000 in chips, blinds increase every 15 hands, plus Pacific has some huge donkiesand you really think each one would last 30 min.Ill admit I already did this prior ro posting this but just wanted to hear everyone's take. And Ill tell you, all 5 MIGHT have lasted more than an hour put together

iggymcfly 0
40 buy-ins is plenty. Just move up to the $20+2's full time. Or better yet, switch to cash games. Your edge is so much smaller in SnGs that it's easy to get frustrated about not getting anywhere.
