treydru21 0
What are your starting hand requirements??? I have got to fix my game. I am to **** loose and I know it. I know how to fix it but patience is by far not one of my strong suits. I need to transform into a rock. So help me out?? Do I play KJoff, do I play Q10s, (it looks so pretty) QJ K10. Are those profitable starting hands?? I knew it was time to call for help and fix this now when I requested a hand history and saw that I called off. $10 bucks playing 2-4 with K7off defending a blind, and chasing a straight after the flop, ( why not everyone else does it) Any help would be appreciated

Suited_Up 2
There's also a link to a great copy of the SSHE Starting hands chart in the strategy section. It says Sklanksy starting hands or something like that.
troutsmart 0
Your hand selection will vary depending on several factors, but initially it would be advised to play hands that are unlikely to get one in trouble. KJ and QT are examples of trouble hands, because you run into kicker problems. AJ is another hand that spells trouble. Read Sklansky's starting hand requirements and learn to play those hands correctly. As you learn to play premium hands correctly, you can start to adjust your play and playing a few more hands. You'll learn when you can play that KJ and QT, or AJ, and when not to. That will factor in your opponent, your position on the table, the size of your stack, and numerous other factors. It is a fun journey, that I don't think will ever end.
