Maybe he has the Ace of spades?Depending on villian sometimes i am three-betting this flop calling a cap and folding turn UI.Without any reads i am calling down to SD unless another spade or Q or K drops. But i am kinda loose so stick to what others say :club:

Thats a really bad fold. The flop c/r can mean as little as a big spade, even something like T9.I call on the flop, and then I play the turn lead in one of two ways:1) I raise the turn. This has the advantage of charging him the maximum for a FD. However, if he is really aggressive, and if he overplays FD's (as many players at these limits do), he may 3bet you forcing you into a difficult spot. I probably fold if he does.2) Call the turn, and call a non spade river. He may easily donk As hi to you on the river if you just call the turn. All in all, you HAVE to at least call this turn.

My limit hold em game is awful, so I really appreciate the replies.I really don't know why I called the check raise only to fold to a turn bet, I guess I got a little fold happy and gave too much credit. At the time it seemed like a reasonable fold, but looking at it posted here it definitely seems quite absurd. I'm so out of my comfort zone in limit that I'm apparently looking for the monsters under the bed every hand.

Just for some perspective. If I'm the villain there, I'm raising:Any jack, the As, sometimes even the Ks, especially if it has a pair with it, 9T, again, especially with a spade, any two pair (not that I'm playing J8, 83, J3 in the first place), etc.So we are ahead of a lot here, hence why we should not fold :DI'd probably fold to a 4th spade though.- Zach

After posting, I did just that...put myself in the villain's shoes. I raise all the same hands, so again, not sure why I talked myself into folding here. Stupid on the spot decision making me costing me BBs.

I've been known to drop a river sexy if the turn and river don't hit the 4-flush... read dependent of course.I think you have to get to showdown and see if he misses.
