yes, i realize they edit these poker shows a lot. But on a few hands I saw him play he played like a complete weak/tight donk.I mean that AQ hand vs. scotty, i mean c'mon he played that about the worst he could have.i'm not saying i'm better at all, i'm just saying, i dunno many great players that would play it like that......

i have a feeling that if Scotty had AK on that hand, OP woulda made a thread saying what a great laydown it was
uhh not really, i woulda just said thats a cooler. I mean onlly about 2-3 playable hands beat him, how ya gonna win tournys playing that way.reason why i made this post was I was curious to see what people thought of him. obv there isn't ahuge sample size, but from waht i see he seems like a weak/tight player.

He actually did appear to suck....bad. That AQ hand was a travesty. Scotty calls the checkraise and Mcevoy just like gives his hand away and looks visibly upset, then check folds the turn. that hand made him look really bad. I'm sure you are still better than me Mr. Mcevoy, but in this episode, your balls are showing.

Ive heard from a few people that its gonna be more geared towards pottery than poker... but who knows.

Tom Mcevoy changed his name to Jamie Gold?
Not directly. He changed it to Robert Varykoni first.

so funny a bunch of fk'n message forum donks have the audacity to call out any known pro who has ever won anything and rip them for being bad players....Tom Mc Evoy....donkey....Jamie Gold...donkey...Greg Raymer...donkey....Joe Hachem...donkey....all you idiots do is sit in your little cubbyholes and rip known players to inflate your sad egos and feel better about being losing playersnot everybody of course, but reading through all the bash posts from you little douchebags is enough to make anyone puke....considering most of you have no hope in hell of winning anything more than the Hubble freeroll if you are lucky. Most of you are still grinding away the $1.50's on Stars, talking about bankroll management..lol and ripping all these 'bad players' who happened to take down the biggest tourney in poker.luck or not, you have no room to say a damn thing. Win SOMETHING first...anything and then maybe you will have earned the right to critique these players who survived huge fields...until then stfu
