They're sweet chips and all but I wouldn't pay that much for them tbh.Have a shop around and sure if you don't find something cheaper that you like then you can always go back and buy the linked ones. Tantalar 0
Nah I would make my own chips, but it would be almost impossible. I mean id have to make them out of a certain type of extremely durable soft clay. I dont work with that kind of clay. The stuff you dig up from the ground is not the same stuff that they use for clay chips at all. Its a completely different matierial really. And with the tools I have available, it is simply impossible to make real handmade poker chips.

ChrisRichey 1
You can always check on chiptalk.net. They usually have a few group buys going, right now they are doing one for 2006 WSOP replicas, which are turning out very nice!
SPADES21 0
These are really nice chips. I have a set of the modern clay chips that i got from the same site, and i love them.I play alot of home games and I used to have a cheap set of composite chips and thought they were ok until I played at a game that used real clay chips. I finally upgraded and I absolutly love using the higher quality chips, it adds a nice touch to the game. The chips are pricey but it is more than worth it if you play alot. I would suggest however to order the sample set of the different types of chips to see which ones you like the best since it is a rather large investment.
WhatArunAA 0
I got the party poker chips with my FPP points.. they are actually pretty nice.. considering everything else sucks at party.

Why the hell would anyone want to give a thoughtful response in general? :)I agree about the sample sets, order from several different brands, you never know how they will feel once you get them. jrme33 0
I own these chips and I was very pleased by the shipping time and the product itself. They are ceramic similar to Chipcos, and they are quite nice as well.
XX44466XX 0
As Alf has pointed out many times in the past, and to whom I thank for doing so, Chipco Pro-tech chips are pretty darn nice. I'd like to get some myself in the future possibly. The ones the OP showed are pretty slick too.
dreamcaster 0
$500 for 500 chips...why not do like others and go to your local casino and get 500 clay chips for $500. When you are done with them, you just take them back. Just watch your friends don't pinch them.
alf13 0
Okay, I am making an appearance here..and hopefully point you toward VALUE.We are poker players right? (well..some of us are) If you want value..you are not getting it here. Sidepot has ridiculous prices. Those chips are manufactured by Chipco. You can get a (IMO) a nicer design that is MUCH cheaper by buying the Chipco Classics, or you can join a group buy on Chiptalk.net and also pay much less.Finally..and this might piss you off....you can do CUSTOM Ceramic chips for the same price you are paying for this production chip.Look around afor the other production chipco chips..and I am sure you will like the Chipco Classics just as much. And of course..they are much cheaper.Like I said..you are paying the same amount of money for a production chip than you would pay for a custom.Just my 2 cents.
