I'm sorry. I liked Josh Arieh, I don't hate people just because TV tells me too. Until I started watching this thing four hours ago I had no problem with Jamie Gold. In fact, I was pretty impressed by his keeping the chip lead FOR DAYS.But watching this, he seems like a real jerk. Smug to the point of being pretentious and douchebaggy.
Where's the smugtometer?

I think Jamie is probably an alright person.... he just doesn't realize that his mouth his hurting him instead of helping him.I think he's lucky AC didn't call him in that hand before the break. To me, Jamie was making it clear tha he had nothing. It looked like AC picked that up, but his nothing must not have been good enough... and also, if he's wrong, buh bye 12 million and the bracelet (something I won't experience for awhile ;-) )

I kept hearing everyone say Gold was a jerk. There has been nothing that he has done tonight that has given me that impression. If anything, he is being too nice. He is being honest when telling people to get away from hands and that is costing him chips. Granted, he is not hurting for chips, but he has not acted like a jerk at all.

The way he talked after hands, the way he talked to dealers, the tone he uses when he is done with a hand. These are not judgements on a poker player, these are judgements on a smug individual. And at least Clooney gave his speech with a smile.
