On the turn, you can get paid off by a flush or a set whereas on the river, it's usually one or the other. For instance, that other opponent may have folded a king high flush that he would have called the turn with.I also find it amusing that one person noticed you flopped a set and missed the flush, while someone else noticed you hit the flush but missed the set.
