BudBundy 0
CryptologicLimit Holdem Ring gameLimit: $1/$29 playersConverterPre-flop: (9 players) Hero is CO with :D 5 folds, Hero raises, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls.Flop: (6.5SB, 3 players)BB checks, Hero bets, Button raises, BB folds, Hero calls.Turn: (5.25BB, 2 players)Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.River: (9.25BB, 2 players)Hero bets, Button calls. Results:Final pot: 11.25BBButton is a moron. He likes to limp in with aces, kings or queens and do stupid plays trying to be fancy. So his hand range here is pretty wide. Now my questions are:Should i 3-bet the flop drawing to 8 outs to nuts and 6 outs to top pair? How's the turn lead?I didn't want to check-raise him because if he 3-bets it puts me in a difficult situation to play rest of the hand.I think i have to lead the river otherwise i can miss one BB.I guess most of the time anything but AK and KK checks behind there. If he raises i was gonna call. rookie2619 0
No reason to 3 bet the flop on a hand that may not get there. I wouldnt check raise the turn either even though you hit your Q. You should have the hand most of the time unless he drew hi backdoor club flush. Well played.
Actuary 3
given your read on villain, assuming it's based on more than acouple incidences, I like the flop play.Against most players, a 3 bet is good.On turn, again, with the read, I'm ok with b/cNormally, I like c/rRiver is scary card, so lead is good..your read is throwing me off here, not sure I made good analysis

Actuary 3
How would you play it without any reads after three-betting the flop?if capped on flop, i would c/c turn and c/r river. ( c/c river if no stright comes, b/c a Q, and still b/c any club straight )if not capped on flop, i bet/call turn.

loopie 0
"Button is a moron. He likes to limp in with aces, kings or queens and do stupid plays trying to be fancy. So his hand range here is pretty wide."This "moron" u speak of is probably the best player at ur table. The guy mixes up his game so u think he's a moron?? I believe your thinking to be flawed. And since I do, I suppose I'm an idiot or donkey for thinking so....right?
Actuary 3
"Button is a moron. He likes to limp in with aces, kings or queens and do stupid plays trying to be fancy. So his hand range here is pretty wide."yeah, pretty bad to mix your play up at Micro stakes. You see, you just miss bets when you limp AA-TT preflopUnlike NL, you can't make them up enough post flop to compensate.Mix it up by raising JTs after 2 limpers. Not by limping AA in late pos at micros.you'll learn Loopie. "Moron", "idiot", etc.... Not the play by this guy, but the fact "moron" was used.Oh, and I doubt you could teach me anything......well, maybe something about reverse implied odds that I would hardly ever use. Actuary 3
you have trouble with your quote function?no need to repeat same quote for 3 responses.he is a moron playing like that in small stakes.it's semantics with you.who cares what your were emphasising, you did not understand that the "moron" was playing poorly.you've shown a poor understandnig of basic principals:RIO and Fold Equity come to mind.and Bankroll managementYeah, pretty much, I'm your daddy. RISEorFall 0
Oh, and I doubt you could teach me anything......well, maybe something about reverse implied odds that I would hardly ever use.if you finished a complete thought with "I doubt you could teach me anything" you should use a period. your ellipses (.....) serves the purpose of carrying on a thought. you said you're not english, so your horrible use of the language can be forgiven.I implied he shouldn't be called a moron, regardless of his play.saying the opponent is a moron is referring to his poker skills. he plays like a moron. we dont know anything about the guy personally, why would we call him a moron? i bet he's a nice guy to hang out with.im sure with your expert knowledge of the game nobody has ever called you a moron, so we can see how you could have made this mistake. loopie 0
regardless, just pointing out something you could learn. No offense, but why would I want to play correctly in micro limits? Big tournies and cash games is where the money is at. Micro means small doesnt it? In poker, I would rather think big.

BudBundy 0
can I get some credit for pointing that out first? How's NL going Bud?You said two different people using the same account.Different things I haven't played NL much lately. Its all PLO 8 for me now. That game is fun,it requires skill and has more fish(i am one of them for now) than any HE game. After dropping a few buy-ins in the beginning i think i am getting in the track now.I am up 6 buy ins in 3 days.i am planning to move up to 0.25-0.50 PLO next week!I feel kinda dissapointed in myself tho. After all those efforts for weeks i just hate limit HE now and i don't think i can play that game online again.
