Congrats on the cash! What was the buy-in?
We can guess:$1600 for 3rd ~= $7k for 1st$7k for first = 15% of the prize pool15% of the prize pool = 105k prize pool105k / 190 = ~1k buyin

Ya I doubt that. The prize pool is probably pretty top heavy. I'd say the buy in was 100ish.

Ok.. I know you're in Mississippi, and education isn't the state's high point... but I went to Ole Miss - I know you can do better than that. You really think someone is going to buy in for $1000 - beat 190 ppl - and only win $7,000? :club:

I would say the buy-in was somewhere $251, but I liked $1000 version a lot more. Who knows, what if the OP enjoys playing poker for fun doesn´t care for money...? jk.Seriously, if we knew how many people played in the tournament, it could help in calculations.

15% of 105k is 7k? :club: prize pool was probably around 45k, so probably a 200$ buy in.

Foxwoods doesn't have a Friday night tournament, so it must have been the afternoon, which is $170 + $30
