Daniel At The No-limit Hold'em Championship

Recommended Posts

The WSOP has yet to keep the exact schedule they put forth. I am sure that most of the players do not care. If they play longer today, that means they will get more time off (maybe an unoplanned day off) sometime down the road. It is not like they decided to take extra money out of the prize pool and keep it for themselves.
Right...and I agree...but I'm sure there will be some who aren't happy w/it

lmaoBryan Micon Warns On The Dangers Of GamblingOn a board of 9635, Bryan Micon goes all-in from the button for his last $100,000. As Reza Zan is debating the call, Micon brings out several Harrah's pamphlets concerning the dangers of gambling. He begins to run through all the symptoms including: "Do you often gamble until your last dollar is gone?" His antics work, and Zan calls after the clock was put on him. Micon shows 74 and he is up against Zan's 93. The river is the J and Micon doubles up to $225,000 in chips.

I would be weeping after thisMatt Wilson Cracks Aces to Double UpJason Strasser raises to $15,000 from middle position and Matt Wilson reraises to $75,000 from the small blind. Strasser moves all in and Wilson calls all in for $408,000. Wilson flips over AspadeKspade but Strasser turns over AclubAheart. However, the board comes Jclub7diamond4spadeQspade6spade and Wilson catches runner runner spades to give him the nut flush and crack Strasser's aces. Strasser is left with around $228,000 and Wilson is now up to around $913,000.I'd be thinking about how I could be the chip leader, and instead I have less then the avg. Then I would punch the guy...

If he has 99k right now he may not be close to average, but he still has more chips than most people still sitting...if that makes sense.
I know what you are trying to say, but I really do not think that is the case. Out of the 111 players Cardplayer is tracking DN is # 105. That is pretty close to the bottom.

Woo Likes to RaceDavid Woo ($830,000) raises to $20,000 in early position, and the player in the small blind re-raises all-in to $97,000. Woo makes the call and shows Kspade10club and his opponent turns over 4spade4heart. The board comes down 9diamond7heart5heart5spadeAspade and Woo loses nearly one-eighth of his stack on this hand. Damn...raising from early position with K10 seems pretty stupid to me. I guess that's why I'm not there.

They sure do play crazy and somehow are still alive.

I've said it before, but I am both proud and ashamed to know exactly what film your avatar came from.

More importantly he has less than 20 BB left. He has some room to wiggle, but not much. He needs to make a move soon, or go on a rush, because he will be gone otherwise.
I have a feeling he's going to pull something off where he hits a mad rush at the very end of the day leaving him above average.

More than the median, but less than the mean, if I remember my seventh grade math correctly.

He can't do it without cards...and feelings don't make cards come. I hope he can do that though.

That would certainly be nice to see. Unfortunately I have to go out soon, so I won't be around tonight until late. I'm hoping for a nice surprise when I get home.
