This Is Why You Should Never Play At Doyles Room

Recommended Posts

I was playing 1/2 NL holdem and made a full house on the river. I checked, my opponent bet and i re-raised allin for another 177, now all of the sudden this player I play with alot starts typing, he has a full house, 22, or 44. She keeps saying 44, 22. The player thinks forever and the folds. I am almost sure he had the nut flush. I spoke to the managers of doyles room and right off the bat they were bieng dicks. They said, if you can prove that she can see your cards, then we will deal with it. I politely told them that that wasnt the issue, and they wouldnt even discuss it, they only said email us at.. security @dbpn.com. At the very least the should have at least banned her chat for a day to show her a lesson, they did nothing. Didnt want to bring u all down, I just needed to vent. I think I am going to cash out tonight, I am trying to decide weather to go to this site or party poker. Does anyone know what the quality of play here is compared to party poker?

Party's support isn't any better. Go to Stars.

Had someone call my exact hand out on Pokerstars once. Real freaky experience, as there were no clues on board as to what I had, and he wasn't involved in the hand. I thought about it a great while after. Don't know still to this day if it was just a lucky guess or what.

Unless she knew his hand, not guessed, she wasn't playing his hand, she was running her mouth.
She was giving another player advice on how to play a hand, which violates the one player to a hand rule. It doesn't matter if she knew his hand or not.

No, she wasn't.She called the hand, out of thin air.Poor form, not illegal. If the guy would have thought she was full of it, and called, he would have been tipping her.The guy either ignored her, or, didn't believe her.Prolly the first, he ignored her.

Yea, because telling the other guy that OP had a full house isn't giving him advice at all... :club: Yes, it violates the one player to a hand rule, and yes, that's illegal.

+1why are there always questions regarding rules in general, and more important people giving wrong answers, when the answer is usually straightfoward?OP: i've found doyle's room support poor as well. someone always picked up but i found they very rarely understood even basic rules of the game. and cashing out was difficult as well.i have pretty good tilt control but there are times where people's chat will totally throw me off my game. i would have been very upset at the situation and would most likely have taken it out on support (knowing that this is the wrong thing to do).if support is unable to help, and you are still upset at her personally, my suggestion would be to track everyone of this woman's hands religiously until you absolutely have her pegged, and i mean dead on. then follow her around and crush her until she apologizes. it's riduculous but it might make you feel better.

Do people really think that what she did was illegal? If it was illegal, then that would assume that she broke some US or state jurisidictional law or statute which would have some type of punishment (jail and/or fines). Or maybe there is a world jurisdictional authority that can come and incarcerate a US citizen for this offense?Poor form - YesPoor sportsmanship - MaybeIllegal - Absolutely Not

I might, probably would be, pissed...but...poor form pisses me off.She was not revealing his hand. She did not know what it was. She made a guess. You think the other guy had no idea the FH was even possible before she said that? What if she had said, "Queen high flush"?

Illegal meaning it violates the rules of poker.
