Tritz 1
When Daniel comes around and says that he lost like one million dollars in one session of poker, does it make anyone else feel the way I do. That feeling in your stomach like something really bad happened and theres nothing you can do about it. I feel almost upset for him.Maybe I'm weird. I feel bad for the guy. Konidias 0
I don't feel bad for him at all. He's supposed to be professional and should know what he's getting into. So even though it seems like a huge loss to us, it shouldn't be that big a loss to him. (even though a loss is still a loss)It's not like he's some internet player who built a million dollar bankroll grinding it out and winning little tournies and then he sat down and lost it all in the big game. You really shouldn't even be at the big game unless your BR can take a couple hits from it without putting you in a cardboard box.I'm sure if he went on some horrifying losing session that even he didn't expect to have, that he could always drop down to a "lower" limit game and clean up. dunkitish 0
Not a big deal. He has plenty of money. He's won millions of dollars at a time and he's still in positive figures on the year. Plus he's raking in a lot of promotional dollars (i.e. Stacked, DVD, etc.). dont worry bout it man
Tritz 1
Yeah, i forget about stuff like stacked that he's got going.
TightLoose 0
but still, i wouldnt be able to think about anything else if i just had a million dollar lose. i cant think about anything else if i have a 300 dollar lose but i guess you get used to it when you move up in limits
Tritz 1
+If I feel like I was kicked in the balls, imagine how DN feels.-Kicked in the balls twice?-Or wants to smash his face into a wall?
dunkitish 0
I'm sure he could afford 10-15 hits like this and still be a millionare. He's won 7.75+ million dollars in tournys and millions in cashgames. Heck, he was like o well not a big deal in his vlog. Plus he will hve more sessions than not winning that much money

king_tanner 84
I'm a huge fan of Daniel, but I have to say that I don't feel sorry for anyone who is worth millions of dollars, and has the ability to lose a million dollars. I would feel sorry for him if he lost a family member or got hit by a bus, but otherwise I don't feel bad at all.
Flack_attack 0
A million? Bah, a million is nothing but two or three bad drives at TPC Summerlin.
Zeatrix 0
Well, he only lost about 125 big bets. While it is a lot for one session in the grand scheme of things it ain't that much, I have lost more big bets than that in a day (although at lower limits )

llou 0
I feel bad for him because I believe it is more than he is used to losing. He seemed to feel bad about it when he talked about it in the video. It wasn't a very happy birthday. But ... as others have said ... If he is going to put that amount of money at risk, he has to be prepared to lose it. We all know that and I'm sure he knows that, too. grocery_mony 8
doesnt it seem that they go out of the way to appease farha. having plo for sammy every second game seems to be excessive.

Kei 0
doesnt it seem that they go out of the way to appease farha. having plo for sammy every second game seems to be excessive. You've got to know when to give action in order to get action. Part of being a professional gambler is figuring out how much of an edge you can give up to get action, but still have an edge to win. That's probably the basic idea behind appeasing Sammy, who isn't a regular at the big game.
Golden 2
DN's cash games are obviously rigged.
