Bob Stupak EliminatedBob Stupak gets all of his chips in the middle on a flop of A :) Q :D 5 :D with Q :) 9 :club: against his opponent's A :D Q :). The turn and the river are the 8spade and the 3heart, and Stupak is eliminated. Shocker of the year (no, not that stupak is eliminated, but that he actually played Q-9)

Fiddy rates a Pokerwire update. Brian Fidler Takes a PotNo Limit Hold'em Main EventJul 31, 2006 / 00:22:53 EDTBrian Fidler raised to 600 under the gun, and the small blind called. The flop came 665, his opponent checked, Fidler bet 1K, his opponent raised to 2.5K, Fidler reraised to 5K, and his opponent called. The turn card was the 10, his opponent checked, Fidler bet 5K, and his opponent folded. Fidler took the pot, increasing his stack to 32K. Brian Fidler won Daniel Negreanu's "Protege" contest, playing in high buy-in events while receiving poker tips from Negreanu himself. Fidler distinguished himself earlier this year by finishing second at the WSOP Circuit Championship in Lake Tahoe.

:)On a flop of 973 and $675 in the pot, the player in seat 2 bets $700. Sean Sheikhan raises to $2,000 and the player re-raises all-in for $10,000 more. Sheikhan makes the call and shows QQ while his opponent shows 99 for a set. The turn and river come 8K, and Sheikhan is eliminated

Haha! I thought this guy was supposed to be a professional. He can't fold an overpair.

it is a little strange that there is not one mention of Hossein Tagh Avi, a guy who has lapped the field with 230000 chips. youd think that with this much media coverage, someone would think thatwas a newsworthy story.
