MikeJohnson724 0
I was playing 100 nl at morongo here in california, worst experience ever. Anyways, there were three players in a hand, player 1 bet, player 2 folded. The dealer did not know there was a 3rd player in the hand because he couldn't see his cards. After player 2 mucked to player 1's bet, the dealer flipped the flop over and pushed it into the muck, and proceeded to push player 1 the pot. After the pot was pushed to player 1, player 1 mucked his hand. Player 3 said "What's going on here" because he still had cards. The only reason player 1 mucked his hand was because he was pushed the pot by the dealer. Player 1 and 3 were of course pissed off. So the floorman comes over. Both players argue there sides and the ruling by the floor is for player 1 to receive his bet back, and then they need to chop the pot. Player 1 was furious. He felt that he deserved the pot because tehe dealer pushed it to him and the situation with player 3 is between player 3 and the house. Some felt the house should match the pot and pay both players the pot since the dealer screwed up. The pot was only about 20 bucks. Have you guys seen anything like this? How did they handle this situation? What do you feel is the proper ruling? Thanks guys!

I think the only fair way to resolve the situation "for the best interest in the game" (which I always hear the floorman say) is to do what they did, unfortunately. It was an honest mistake by the dealer and theres no way to go back, so essentially the hand is over, but no winner can be determined, thus a split pot.
bdc30 0
Sucks, but I agree with the floor. It's the only fair way.
chester97 0
thats why you don't hide your hole cards. sure, the dealer should've been paying more attention, but over the course of a shift, their mind is gonna take a hand off. and if they can't easily see the cards, well, then its just asking for crappy situations like this to come up. Royal_Tour 0
Chop Chop.Player 3 should pay more attention and make his presence in the hand known better.Dealers will make mistakes, and it was the dealers mistake. The mix up gets corrected with a chop. Lucky for player 3 in fact since he could have been beat anyways.Player 1 at fault for not paying attention to who is left in the hand.Player 3 at fault for not paying attention for being in the handdealer at fault for not paying attention to who is stil in teh hand. chrozzo 19
this is why i always keep saying...they should all get robot dealers! no mistakes, unless of course you, in a fit of anger, throw your drink at the robot dealer and he short circuits

KONGOS 0
Player 3 must have been totally asleep if he didn't speak up until Player 1 mucked his cards AND the pot had already been pushed to him. Everyone should've payed more attention and I think the floor probably did the only fair thing.

frogman 0
This happened to me I am in seat one and after the flop I move all it is folded (what I thought was all around) the dealer pushed me the pot and I tossed my cards over the pile of chips to the middle of the table. They did not touch the muck. The player in seat 10 Immediatly says I call and yells for the floor before anybody knows what is going on. The floor ruled that I had folded out of turn and awarded the entire pot to the player in seat 10.Then the floor asks me if I want him to get me more chips from the cage. I declined and left. This was at Greektown in Detroit. Thanks Charles
rivergirl 2
Sort of happened to me one night, i call what i think is the last bet, player in middle still has cards,( unknown to everyone at the table). As i turn my hand over, he says wait and calls. The rule at our casino is an exposed hand is mucked. I was very willing to muck my winning hand as it was truly my fault for showing and let the other 2 players fight over it....it was only a 20-30 dollar pot. The player with the hidden cards had exactly the same hand as me and asked the dealer to split the pot between us. I bought him a beer and we called it even.

frogman 0
I don't understand either. They said that the other player obviously won as he was the only one with cards and that if I didn't have cards that I must have mucked them. I was then told to protect my hand better next time. I guess if I ever play there again I will not give my cards back to the dealer till after the next hand is dealt of something. rockytrh 0
i got a really cool toy from my parents last year or perhaps a year before that. It is a TV plug-n-play type thing where each person gets a controller with an lcd screen and it shows your cards on your lcd screen, there are buttons and such to raise/lower your bet, ect. The main TV screen shows a screen much like a online poker table showing everybodys ammounts. It is actually kinda cool, but i use it very little.
SlowPlayedNuts 0
Do those electronic tables allow you to know how many "chips" each player at the table has or only how many you have?

blueodum 0
Cards of all players must be visible to the dealer at all times. If Player 3 had them partially hidden behind chips it's his fault. Leave the card out in plain view and put a chip/card protector on them.
