Is this the dumbass that took money from his college fund to pay for his first buy in?
No, this is the dumbass who had this parents take the extra, unneeded money from his college fund to pay for some of his buy-ins. Then his dumb *** went and final tabled 3 WSOP events. Retard.

Yes.
Good Christ. Well, it was a good gamble for him I suppose. $1.4 million in under three weeks is a pretty good statistic.

Gambling with money your parents saved for college is a pretty stupid thing to do. I'm happy for him, but if a few coinflips went a different way that kid could be telling a completely different story.

He's a senior. Mr. Madsen said there was extra money in the fund. Even if there wasn't, they're rich and I'm sure could've scraped up a couple g's pretty easily. I read the same articles everyone else does, I just think some read too much into them. ESPN is looking for a story, the "from college to poker" angle is cute and it's what they're working. I wouldn't look for serious insight into his BR management from an online article. This may not be you Turd, but some people on sites I've read are giving the kid so much **** about 2 sentences about him in some dumb ESPN article and are forgetting that he just won 2 ****ing bracelets. All of us would've given our left nut to be him at 21.

Is there such a thing as unneeded money in a college fund? If so, then his family has way to much mobney.
