KVOM 0
http://www.pokerplayernewspaper.com/viewar...amp;sort=authorReally?The simulation was limit, not PL, and says nothing about how the betting was conducted post-flop.At PLO8 playing for the flush is so position/read dependent that no conclusion is possible. I think it's pretty -EV in a full table game.
KappaKid83 0
Ok it is a limit game, which is applied in the title. I guess you cant argue with numbers, but I still think its a bad play, and I dont generally make it in a full ring game. If I am short handed, then yes I make the call, because its less likely for someone to make a full house. I dont know, interesting concept.JEFF
Vman96 0
I guess you cant argue with numbers. You definitely can argue with numbers because...says nothing about how the betting was conducted post-flop.My guess is he factored this in poorly. I say the only post-flop callers are an overpair or trips....or a good low draw. I am definitely not convinced. If all I am drawing to is the nut flush on a paired board, I sure as hell better be getting 6 to 1 or greater, or I think I am bleeding money. And in a tight game, that just isnt happening that often.
