crumpentunt 0
Hi, I've signed up with partypoker through www.instantpokercash.com where they proceeded to give me 50$ free dollars on partypoker (offer open to anyone, if your interested). The lowest limit party has however is 0.5-1.00, which, my bankroll is ridiculously inadequate for. However, I was fortunate enough to not have a huge downswing and was able to build my brankroll up to 220$ playing 0.5-1.00 (4 tabling, Smash's posts have helped ) I'm now wondering whether I should purchase pokertracker. I mean, just for playing limits 0.5-1.00 on partypoker, how much is pokertracker going to help me, and what are its key features which are essential and warrant the 55$ purchase. 55$ is quite a bit of money to me (nevermind the fact its american!) and i'm wondering if it's worth it.Also, two last questions, is there any way I can get a copy of pokertracker without paying the 55$ (i know about the 1000 hands trial thing, but thats not large enough, i've been playing close to 700-1000 hands a day) and also, is there a way in pokertracker or without it, to know how many hands you've played in a session while you are playing (besides manually counting?) Thanks.
wrto4556 0
Buy it.Don't use your bankroll as you are underfunded already. But buy it.
jbecks81 0
I got Poker Tracker for free by signing up on pokersourceonline.com. They are an affiliate for a few sites. You just sign up on one of there sites, play a required number of raked hands, and then you can get the software. I signed up on Golden Palace Poker (horrible site), but I figured it was better than paying the 50 bucks for the program.
KDawgCometh 2
I say go ahead and get the full version as 1000 hands is nothing and will fill up in no time. You can learn a lot about your game from it even at .5/1. You will get every neccessary stat about your game and it autorates players so you can know what kind of category you are and it also rates your opponents which is very useful when your multitabling as you might not completely notice what type of player they are. It makes good buddy list material too. I say suck it up and pay the $55 because it will pay for itself after not to long
Hardrocker 0
And just right-click on your own name at the table, and click on "statistics": that will show how many hands you have played at that particular table.

crumpentunt 0
Great, thanks for the tip about knowing how many hands I've played. I think, I think I'll buy it when this semester is over (cause if i buy it now, i might not get any work done).I won't use my bankroll, cause, as I said, its too small for0.5-1.00 as it is. I have a question about the "Gametime" thing... What exactly is it, how does it work, and why and in what ways is it useful? Also, regarding the rating system... Do you find the way it rates players is actually accurate to their ability? As in, is the formula for rating players pretty decent? Thanks.
