TheCinciKid 0
GG Hoosier, nice score. FWIW I think your call with 54o was very good. I put that guy on a missed flush draw. I think calling with a pair is correct there. Maybe I wouldn't be saying the same thing if he'd shown down a winner, but my gut said he had a flush draw on the flop, so I think the call with a pair of fives is good. HoosierAlum 0
Ty all for the rails. I must say, this win ended the coldest streak of my career, I was beginning to think I would never get a win again.Im really happy with the way I played this entire tournament. I got unlucky in large pots multiple times, but I feel like I played as close to mistake free poker as possible. I thought i recognized the name strongisland, and I was exicited to play him hu. IMO he played wayyyyyy too tight HU, and I was stealing chips at will.Well at least im even for the WSOP trip now...heh thanks all for the rails.Yea my call with the 5s was tough, I put him on a busted flush draw too. He could definitely have been value betting a pair, but I think Im good enough times to call. He only had the 2s...i think he played the hand pretty bad. He played much too tight pf and post flop, he was doing wayyy too much check folding, folding pf.
TheCinciKid 0
I'm glad to see you back on the beam. I'm sure the cold streak must have been very rough. Hopefully this is the start of big rush for at least the rest of the WSOP for ya.

Questioning your play is often times good, but when you beat yourself up over every play you make, it is bound to lead to bad things. This win should give me a bit of confidence. I was donk-striked out of a couple events last week and decided to take some time off cause I was on perma-tilt. Then my buddy was in town this weekend and i spent about $1500 at Scores and another $500 playing drunk craps...always smart. And I havent had a phone since Saturday because I was so hammered that I lost it somewhere in Scores. What are your plans for tomorrow?
