My friends and I are planning a bachelor party in Vegas. As some members of the party are willing to spend more than others, we were limited to staying somewhere on the less expensive side. However, I heard that many poker rooms offer a reduced room rate if you play for a certain number of hours and book the room through the poker room.Specifically, I heard that Wynn will be offering a rate of $129 Sun-Thurs, adn $199 Fri and Sat. for 6 hours of play per day. I also heard that Bellagio offers the same rates. Does this sound accurate?Does anyone know of rates at other higher-end Strip Casinos? Also, can these hours be accumulated amongst more than one person. For example, if I am staying with someone, can we each play 3 hours and qualify? Certainly I intend on playing lots of poker, but other 'duties' call... it is a bachelor party, after all! Thanks.

Bellagio is $129 Sun-Thursday and $199 Fi-Saturday. You are required 5 hours of play per day of stay. I think they do allow you to split the hours among more than 1 person...but you'll have to check that for sure.Mirage has something close to that but I don't know the specific rates. I just remember that for the difference I preferred staying and playing at Bellagio.I just got back from Vegas in Feb...Good luck when you go and give us a report on the Wynn if it's open by the time you go.
