zsta2k6 0
My schedule generation program is up for you all to play with if you are interested. The program randomly generates 100 weeks of play, then randomly selects 5 of those to use and outputs them. This version uses 1-24 as the players, I will modify mine after we have the final list of players to get the schedule.Note: You must have java installed for this to run.You can get it here...http://home.comcast.net/~zsta2k5/Scheduler.jar

zsta2k6 0
Well, I have come to a few decisions about the low buyin that will help keep it at FCP, and help maintain an approximation of the payout structure.1. The low buy in is set indefinately at $50, $20 more than previously announced.2. Both high and low buy in events will be capped at 32 players. Also, this is an issue for both events.... since there will be 32 players instead of 24, there will have to be a slight alteration to the structure of the tournament. There will either be an extra round added (instead of 5 prelims playing 6 handed, 3 or 4 prelims playing 8 handed, then that many more playing 6 handed), or the 6 handed prelim tables will play as 8 handed and 20 players will advance to the playoffs.once the issue above is resolved, I will post a modified rulesheet for both high and low buy in events. zsta2k6 0
Lists, rules, etc. have been updated in the OP. This will most likely be the last set of changes to the rules. Low buy in payout structure has also been included. There are still 2 spots open on the High buyin list, and I have started a Low buy in alternates list for those who are not listed yet. People listed as unconfirmed/unknown will have until the end of Saturday to contact me with their confirmation or they will be dropped from the list, and alternates will take their place. And the winner of the 8 person table takes the $40? Who are we sending the entry fee too, how, and when will it be due? Has match nights and times been determined yet as well? Sorry to be a pain.Paul

Sorry to be a pain.Paulabout the $5+.5 matches, they will be refunded to you either every week or at the end of the prelim round. Yes the winner of the table takes the $40. Who to send entry fees has not been determined for sure yet but will more than likely be the FCP poker room, how will be up to them, and it will be due late August. Match nights are monday, tuesday, thursday, and friday, at 10pm EST. You will play on only once a week.

zsta2k6 0
27.50 no?that or 5.50, depends on whether FCP pays the buyins back every week or at the end of the round. I'll have more on that once I get more information.

I'll have more on that once I get more information.Wouldn't it be easier tojust pay the $50 - the 5 prelim buy-ins? The winner would still get the $40 and nothing would have to be refunded. Does this make more sense to anyone else or I am just losing it?

The winner would still get the $40 and nothing would have to be refunded. Does this make more sense to anyone else or I am just losing it?The way it is being done is to prevent no shows, if you dont show up for your match your buy in won't be refunded to you. Otherwise it would affect the payout for those matches. It could be done the way you suggest, but there would be no insurance against no-shows.Also, for the prelim-quarterfinal, the tournament fees (the 50 cents) will not be refunded to maintain the current payout structure. If there is a problem with that, I can modify the payout structure in the low, and cut into the consolation prize pool for the high to accomidate those fees for the prelim matches. Also again, the minisite for this event is up and under construction. To be preemptive, I have 0 skill web designing, I realize this, no need to blast me for it. You can get to it using the following link.http://home.comcast.net/~zsta2k5/FCPPC/index.htmAlso, as you can see, <insert logo here> doesnt make for a good logo. If someone with decent mspaint/photoshop skills wants to have a go at a logo, it would be much appreciated and credit will be given on the homepage.
