Such indepth description of the Biloxi area. The grand in Biloxi is decent. Pretty good tournmanets. Non-smoking. Good snack bar. Decent comps.Poker players? Just like anywhere else. I don't think anyone can so, "atlantic city poker players suck, or LA players are the best." Every place is going to have their good players and bad players. The Grand does spread a 1-4-8-8 hold em game which is a little different then most places I have played. I have never seen them spread a NL game, but the do have stud and Omaha.www.mcpoker.us

Biloxi's a pretty swank little town. The only casino there that has a poker room (that I know of) is The Grand. Tunica, on the north end of the state, has 4 I think. The Beau Rivage, which is the cousin of the Bellagio, is super-nice, but they don't have poker. The popular game down in Biloxi seems to be pot-limit hold'em. It's definitely an action game. If you're a limit player, the regulars don't seem to play any less than 10/20. Below that, it's mostly just tourists and beginners.

Thanks. They are having a WSOP qualifier on tuesday for 50 dollars so that should at least be fun to play.

To me, the Grand in Biloxi has the best poker. It has the biggest poker room down there of all the others, so its pretty easy to find a game. The Grand in Gulfport has a smaller poker room, only went there once and there wasn't much action. I found out later the main reason for that is that the poker room there is non-smoking. I also like playing at the President. Decent size poker room, and they will spread a NL game if they get enough people wanting to play (mostly 1/2 blinds or 2/5 blinds). They do good comps there too, especially for the buffet.... we never pay to eat as long as we play poker for a little while... And by far the President has the hottest cocktail waitresses :D peace,Brandon

Grand Biloxi is definetly the best poker room on the Gulf Coast. However the lowest hold em offered is 1-4-4-8....which basically amounts to 4/8. So if you have a small bankroll this is too much. However like the other guy said its not full of professionals. The 10/20 game @ grand is EXTREMELY tight I would suggest avoiding it unless they have several tables going. The thing with the Grand is if you are there during the week and they only have 1 table running of a particular limit you are going to be sitting down with the people who play that same game every day of the week. You mentioned the WSOP satellite they are also running satellites for the Southern Classic which is next month and will be at the Grand. The buyin to those events start @ $500 and go up.
