76clubs 0
Seriously dude, you don't get it. I played PERFECTLY in the HORSE tournament. Seriously, on day one I may have lost 600 I could have avoided, but aside from that, I played the best poker tournament of my life. Don't tell me I "sucked" in that event when you have no clue what truly happened. I don't think anyone in that tournament played "better" than I did... I was totally prepared, and totally focused. The only thing I did "wrong" was getting rivered virtually every hand I played. Read through the texts of the tournament... which hand did I "suck" on exactly?Just another Donk making useless threads in general.....I kid, I kid.....

ryansd 0
It's funny, if you carefully read Cemo's posts...you will realize that he is NOT a DN hater. Infact, his posts suggest more of an obsession with Kid Poker. You know in grade school when you liked a girl...you picked on her a little bit, made fun of her, just to get attention. However, you would do it in a way that was somewhat fun spirited. Problem was, the girl always thought you were a ****.Same situation here. Cemo's posts are filled with encouragement for Daniel, just in a different way than most other people here. Am I defending what he said? Absolutely not. I think DN is playing the best he can, and there is going to be a ton of variance...who are we to get on him about it. The point is, Cemo wanted to stick out to Daniel, in hopes that KidP would post back something like. "You know Cemo, you're right!! This post is just what I needed to bring back my A game, now I will win the Main Event and it will be all thanks to you!". Of course not that outlandish, but something of that nature.Instead, Daniel as any normal person would took the comments as rude, and off base....aka, he thought Cemo was a ****. Can't really blame him. Just thought the whole situation was sort of funny.

Read through the texts of the tournament... which hand did I "suck" on exactly?I would never say that Negreanu didn't play his little heart out like a champ in the 50k Horse Event. I think the same can be said when the Main Event starts up. This Cemo fella pushed the wrong button because I don't think he understands what the 50k Horse meant to Negreanu. In some sense, despite all the arguments about it, it has crowned the greatest all-around poker player amongst top level pros: Chip Reese. Negreanu with all his heart and soul wanted to be a part of that elite crowd despite his understanding that it's just one tournament.A mixed game tournament final table with Doyle and Phil Ivey. I mean... I'd be crying on my couch with my poodle too, knowing that again, Phil Ivey one-uped me. It's like Salieri and Mozart. Good luck with the rest of series Negreanu. Head up. cu in 4years Dan 1
ONE POKER TOURNAMENT DOES NOT DETERMINE THE BEST POKER PLAYER!!!!!!i think what he was saying is that it has been won by some of the top pros, therefore to win the 50K horse you have to have more skill than luck......
