TightLoose 0
Since the old crew of Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, John Juanda, and Allen Cunningham are all successful pro's, In what order would you put them in terms of skill in poker in general in all games?

I'd say they are all even honestly.
sdnuol 0
Ivey, Negreanu, Cunningham, Juanda, and Matusow. Mike would be higher, but he really only plays omaha and holdemif it was nlhe id say ivey, matusow, negreanu, juanda, cunningham

Mike would be higher, but he really only plays omaha and holdemif it was nlhe id say ivey, matusow, negreanu, juanda, cunninghamMike wasn't part of this crew. However, according to his interview on Cardplayer (in the hot tub looking tired) he played in the 400-800 mixed games. My picks:1. Phil Ivey- He was my pick to win the HORSE so he better win.2. Daniel NegreanuI think you have to put these 2 1st, because they play in the big game far more often and have had more tournament success3. Allen Cunningham4. John JuandaAll of these guys would be in my top 10 feared all around (cash&tournament) players.

BioPaul 0
To be honest, John Juanda is my favorite player but within that murderer's row of successful cash game and tournament players and all four are within my top five favorite players (with David Williams). My favorites go in the order of:JuandaIveyCunninghamDanielBut in terms of who's the better player, they said in that piece that Allen was the best player in the group, but to be honest I believe it's Ivey.Ivey has proven to be one, if not the best, all-around players in the World. His cash game success combined with his tournament success is just unreal. Within that list of four guys, he has to be listed as number one or at least number two depending on what you measure talent on.Daniel is second. His 2004 proved that he is one of the top tournament players in the world. The difference between Ivey and Negreanu can come in thier more recent successes. Daniel from 2005 until this day has been trailing Phil in terms of consistent tournament success. The argument can be made on for either player standing atop of the list, but in my eyes Phil has been more of a consistent player than Daniel. Now ranking three and four, are just as hard as ranking the top two. Juanda is slightly a more consistent tournament player, but Allen has been on a tear since his awesome WSOP 05 run. If I had to choose one over the other, it has to be Juanda over Cunningham. For recap:1. Phil2. Daniel3. John4. AllenThe four have fifteen bracelets among them and in just about every form of poker possible. Just an amazing group of players.

albasuna 0
1. Hands down Phil Ivey, because his sole focus is on poker and is younger than Daniel Negreanu.2. Daniel Negreanu, with him being successful in his showing at the Big-Game.3. John Juanda/Allen Cunningham, it's just to hard to choose between the two and I don't really know their ability to play the other games. Cunningham as of late as shown tremendous success in NLHE. On the other hand Juanda is just so consistent and recently took 32nd? in last years Main Event. If anyone has any information or 'fun facts' about the crew could someone enlighten me because I've been eagerly wanting to know about them. What a great bunch of players, what poker players should be.
KappaKid83 0
Except we know the answer to your question.Ted Williams.Next.I am a HUGE Red Sox fan, and as much as I love Ted Williams, there is still an arguments for a few other players. I think Ted thought about hitting SOOOO much more than anyone else that EVER played the game and would have won more triple crowns and batting titles had it not been for his diligent service in our military. You could argue Tony Gwynn, but he learned a lot from Ted late in his career. You could argue Babe Ruth, for his numbers. You could argue Hank Aaron for his consistency. I could go on but you get my drift. Still I love Ted, and he is number 1 in my mind, but I like to keep it open for argument.JEFF
Spence 0
Babe ruth was amazing.Hitting the same amount of hr's as the rest of the AL combined...Thats impressive. My vote is on the babe.
