Daniel At The Horse Event

Recommended Posts

You want them to look at tapes that follow these decks from when they were first used until now and see how they got marked? I think you're getting confused. No one intentionally marked these decks. These decks were already used, obviously many times before and are showing some wear and tear. Using used decks is a mistake that can happen through human error, and I can see why Andy got a penalty because he argued with an official, who should probably be canned for yelling at Andy in the first place, but you cant treat floormen poorly. But the fact that after several complaints they are still using used decks is absolutely absurd. How hard is it to go get a few new decks of cards? This is a casino and this is the WSOP!
sounds ridiculous that they can't get new decks.

The decks being used at the WSOP are Copag, if I remember right, and they are of horrible quality. Very easy to have marked cards with the decks they are using. When I was there I would say that an average of 5 cards were replaced a day at my table.

Theyre still better than current KEM's.

I didn't see this posted, so I'll give it a shot:Wed Jul 12 15:11:00 PDT 2006Daniel Negreanu Wins His Second PotSTUD After modest betting on every street, Daniel Negreanu shows a King-high flush to take a $12,000 pot from Rick Chase. Negreanu made a point to mention that, after four levels of play, this was only the second pot he's won. Negreanu now sits with $41,600, while Chase has $56,600.

Yes, HORSE is a limit game. But for some reason, they switch to NLHE once they reach the final table. I think it's dumb, but I guess it's hard to cover HORSE on TV.
Read Paul Phillips Bog regarding this - switching to NLHE for the final table is not a new idea and the players agreed to it as well.... so it can't be that bad. It's not just a WSOP/ESPN idea that someone thought up.
How about reviewing some ESPN tapes and finding the buttheads that are doing it?
yeah.... I think they have cameras at every table.... (sarcastic wit there)

"Daniel Negreanu disqualified from the WSOP HORSE event Upon learning that Daniel Negreanu was illegally using a cell phone during play, a clear violation of WSOP rules, the tournament director has disqualified Daniel from the event and he has been asked to leave the facility" Daniel could be heard yelling "I want my Mommy!, I want my Mommy! while being escorted from the building"

So you're saying that Daniel said the following in quotes?:"I want my Mommy!, I want my Mommy! while being escorted from the building"Why would he say, "while being escorted from the building"

Can someone explain to me how you bet "modestly on every street" in a limit event?? LOL he should have pushed more into the pot on the river to get better value.sw

Nevada Gaming Commission requires cameras on all tables. They do indeed have a camera at every table (security).

Apparently I was bored out of my mind enough at work to think this was funny but not enough to use proper punctuation. My apologies

1. I was sure that it didn't happen.2. Evidence to bust you was the improper punctuation, although you get credit for spelling everything correctly and formatting the sentences as if they had actually appeared on Cardplayer.com, etc.We all need a little something now and then to break up the monotony.
