KowboyKoop 0
Even though I'm sure Phil is upset and will complain, he got pretty unlucky heads-up..no denying that..but hopefully he'll realize that he played well and will focus on the next tourney and put together another run soon. GG Phil...he'll get #10 soon enough....I'm sure he won't be sleeping tonight though.Edit: Oh, and I guess Phil is now the laughing stock of poker because he couldn't overcome a surreal rush of cards and only got 2nd in a WSOP event..along with two other pretty good cashes in the first 9 events.......guess it's back to "Phil sucks now" and "I'm embarrassed for the way he plays" and so on and so on. doublemeup 0
Well although I would've liked to see Phil win his 10th bracelet, his reaction to finishing second should surely make up for not winning. Sure Phil blew a big chip lead but there wasn't much he could do. He played well, the luckbox hit his cards, and thats how HU goes sometimes. GG Philly FishBetter luck next timeNow I can go to bedYay!

MDBLakers 0
The Final Hand:This is how the hand went down:Phil: 54osJeff: 5d3dFlop = Xd4d6xMoney goes in...turn = 4River = diamondPhil confirms no deal was made.I think earlier in the tournament Phil could of busted Jeff when he had him dominated with AQ but folded to Jeff's all in bet. Jeff showed AJ.

jooka 0
ya'know, maybe there was a deal. I mean the guy played so badly it wouldnt suprise me. The cards just wouldnt let it happen. I know PH said there wasnt, but even so I still wouldnt be suprised that there was one and there just not saying it..

GodOfEntropy 0
I think earlier in the tournament Phil could of busted Jeff when he had him dominated with AQ but folded to Jeff's all in bet. Jeff showed AJ.I was not following the updates, but if that happened, it sounds like vintage Hellmuth. He never seems willing to stick his whole stack in the middle with anything less than AK when he has a decent stack, and although that may be correct in the majority of situations, it seems the times he does not really come back to haunt him. I believe Matusow pulled a similar move on him when they were 3-handed last year at the T.O.C., and of course you can see the cash game players on HSP bully him relentlessly because of this.Anyway, Phil played well this time around, and he should be steaming given how the cards ran when they got heads-up. gilbertology 0
Hahaha Phil Hellmuth continues to be the laughing stock of poker. Will he make another FT in the WSOP? hell no! Oh, and that real poker player Daniel Negreanu has already made two. I have no respect for people who complain on behalf of Phil because he's getting cold-decked. It happens all the time in poker and someone usually gets the worse half in a HU duel. Maybe, if he changed his weak-tight style and bet larger amounts and with more aggression on the flop and turn, then there would be less river suckouts leading to less tilt and Phil playing more focused. He does it to himself. It's not his style, but the best poker players continuously adapt their style hand-to-hand. In that 5-3 hand, Phil knew bottom two wasn't a great hand and could be in trouble. He should've bet a decent amount(minimum pot-size) on the flop and probably didn't. The call he received signaled his opponent had something and that Phil did not want him seeing the river card. So bet hard on the turn, make a bet that is uncallable when your opponent holds J5 such as 1.5 to 2x the pot. Then you don't get rivered and save many chips. Kowboy Koop and his followers(brvefart - yes immature, but funny) are idiots, the purest of the poker fish(I've seen brveheart play) who love to idolize the worst and continuously have their money taken while constantly lying about how bad they really are. Everyone knows they're idiots and nothing they can ever say will change my or anyone else's opinion. Not one real person Ive talked to believes otherwise. Oh and did I mention Phil Hellmuth lost? Flame away Mr. Koop, it's all you do all day long for all your life. If only you could get paid for it. Little kids and their dreams. This was just another case of the best poker player winning heads up. No big deal. Everyone can go to sleep now. Phil is not a top 200 NL player we all know it. I love raggin on Phil cuz it's so darn easy If you disagree and hate me, either of you I'll play a 100 HU against. Put your money where your mouth is and embrace Hellmuth's style while I tear it apart.

And since he had a piece of the flop I doubt he folds anything, except maybe an all in on the flop.... so Phil was smoked on that hand no matter what he did.jeff calls blind, hellmuth checks, flop Ac 3s 5h, phil checks, jeff bets 65k, phil calls, turn is Jh, phil checks, Jeff bets 100k, Phil calls, 8c on river, phil checks, Jeff bets 300k, phil calls, JEff show j5 for two pair, phil had a 5 and a

Ouch. Also, when DN was getting "cold-decked" during his downswing, he complained in his blog about it every time and complained about it on TV as well..and lots of people on here made that excuse for him. Also, Phil didn't get rivered on the hand of which you speak, he got hit with a three-outer on the turn. Ouch, what, that's about four things you've already gotten wrong so early in your mindless ramble??Also..you say flaming is all I do in my life or something?? Uh.....please give me examples where I have flamed people outside of this thread in the past two months...there aren't very many...except for here.Finally.....are you retarded? I think no...but I have my doubts.
