chris26356 0
Farha knows how to play the game. He's playing the players, my friends. And watching the High Stakes Poker episodes doesn't really do much, because I'm sure that they tend to show the more exciting/dramatic hands. Good for TV.

Good for TV.Yah, he does know how to play, but from what I have seen I am not convinced that he is a very good player, but that is probably the horrid TV editing, what about Robert Varkonyi? Stylin_Fish 0
When Farha calls an all in with a backdoor flush draw and hits, he's considered"One of the only few pure gamblers left." When Aaron Kanter does, he's a "lucky fish"All poker professionals are lifetime luckbox's. Sure they go on their little downswing here and there but there is no way to maintain poker for that long without being a luckbox and sucking out millions of times.

DudeSurprise 0
Goehring is actually quite a player, he just plays with a much different strategy in mind than most players in the big buyin tournies. He explained the math and his thought process behind the K8 call and briefly defended his style awhile back on the 2+2 forums.

Luck is just an easy explanation for something that isn't easily understandable.
