Shouldn't Party Poker Refund Me?

ok, heres the situation. I enter into a NLHE $33 MTT on partypoker and about an hour into the tournament with still over 5,000 chips to play with and the blinds still only 100/200... I get eliminated from the tournament in 500 something place for no reason at all. at first i thought I had been moved to another table and was not taken their automatically. but when I checked the player chips counts to see what table I would be playing at, I was completely eliminated from the tournamentI email their support of the situation and they ask me to confirm the last hand i played (dispalyed below)

dear Dominic,I have checked the hand history and I see that you were actually playing on two different tables. I also see that you have folded the hand since you had to take the action on the other table. I am sending you the complete hand history for the game# 4523735333. I say yeah, that was the last hand i played from the tournament before i was elimnated and they respond with this bull****.
Dear Dominic,We have checked the hand history of the tournament table and see that you were disconnected. However, there was no disconnection problems with that tournament and all the other players were able to play without any difficulty. If the disconnection was from our end then all the players would face the same difficulty and the tournament will be cancelled. Once the tournament is cancelled, refunds will be done to the active players in the tournament accordingly. We would not be able to refund you for this tournament as the disconnection was faced only by you and there was no connectivity problems from our end.
now heres the problem with these idiots, 1st of all, I was not disconnected from partypoker in no way what so ever. At the same time of the MTT, I had another SNG running simultaneously (like they stated above) and was able to finish that tournament without any problems. A disconnection on my half is out of the question hereWhat should I do?

You should just accept it... PartyPoker already said they will not refund you so umm tough luck...

tell them you're cashing out your bankroll and switching to poker stars because you do not feel appreciated as a customer.
Yup, and if they don't care, really cash out and go to pokerstars...wait a month or so...and they will give you 20-75 dollars. Take your money out of stars and put it back to party poker with a possible profit.

I tried to get money back that I lost unfairly and their support basically told me tough ****. They're pricks and there's not much use getting to them. Try calling them and seeing if you can express your anger vocally.

go to poker forums like this and tell everybody.and tell PP that the next WPT final table you reach, you will criticise them on national tv, and that you'll do the same when you win the main event this year, your 3rd bracelet in 3 consecutive events

its an auto message. they use smart software to digitally talk to you. this message was the closest to your problem so they sent it to you instead of your money back and an apology which was in order. very like party to do this

Same kind of thing happened to me. I entered a MTT, played one hand then was moved to a new table, only I couldn't get on the new table. I wasn't disconnected from PP, but I could not get the table to open, even after closing and reopening PP and rebooting my computer.I called support and was on hold for a half hour. When I finally got through to them they had me reconfigure some url info in their application file to access a different one of their servers or some such thing. Then I restarted the software and finally, an hour later, everything worked again. At this point the blinds were huge and I was almost blinded out. So, I figured I'd be getting a refund no problem, but they gave me the same BS you got. And they were extremely rude about it too. I promptly withdrew all my money and never went back.Don't waste your time trying to get them to help you. They never will. It's too bad a cool guy like Mike Sexton is associated with this kind of thievery.

i have to agree with cu on this one stylin. stars is about the only place that will do you right in this situation that i've found.i was actually disconnected from stars (and my cable internet) during a SNG, and didn't know what their police was on disconnects. (yeah, i should've read the rules and terms). I e-mailed them about their policy. here was their response:

once again, an A+ in the support department at Stars. Party is gluttonous and profiteering, and could give a crap about the individual user. That why I have yet to deposit and play there, and unless I see them do something that someone else hasn't that appeals to me, I won't be.

A lot of good answers, technically, they can do what they want, and you'll get screwd, but someone said something about telling them you're leaving their site, and balh blah.thats good except here is what i would have done. Contact their live support, not email.If its something like this, always contact live support and be very nice, but very dissapointed.FCP and Tiger gaming both refunded my money for a couple MTT's where i went from posting big blind, to big blind on another table without a table collapse, so its a bug in the software, and they took the time to talk to me live and tell me they were sorry, and credited my account.

Thats messed up. Id call, but if you get no response then don't play sngs there anymore.FTP screwed me once as well. They said my username"fckthis" was getting emails about how offensive it was. They told me to change my name, but everytime I tried to resolve things and change my name, they wouldnt answer back, or answer the next day. Thats great, but too bad my account was locked and I couldnt do ****. So I said screw you, and took out my money. They certainly didnt give a shiet though, because the email I got said "Sorry for the inconveinence....blah blah blah".However, Stars support is awesome. They answer quickly and are fair about their decisions.

I never keep money there and they just drop 40 or so in my account every few months. I play it off then cash it out. 2 months later another 40. lol
