bascomeb 0
Well it happened again tonight. Had a nice chip stack in a full tilt tourney of a $24 buy in then around bubble time people start stalling like none other. Meanwhile blinds raise and your chip stack isn't looking so healthy anymore. Tried to raise every pot I could but big stack to my left and right put a hold on that pretty quickly. Finally the bubble bursts and you realize you're only left with 10 times the big blind and lose a race to go out. Yay stallers! For $40 too really pathetic when u think about it.Alright my rant is over.
TB17 0
Hahaha it reminds me of last night when we were nearing the bubble on the $100+9. A shorty with like 55 to go tried to convince us to stall and kept saying it would reaaaaaaly help him out. (45th was a whopping $111) He stalled, used his timebank, would constantly tell us that he folded some big hands (Folded A-J and 8-8 with 2 Ms when it was folded to him) crept into the money, and got his aces cracked by 10-4, and then proceeded to whine about his bad luck. Java 0
This punk StephanRain took stalling to a new level on PartyPOker.http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...showtopic=58192
aucu 3
The only time where stalling is permisable is in the big turbo RBs on stars where the BB actually gets larger than the average stack. But in a regular tourney I hate it.
Porcupine 0
I really hate the bubble beggars. I wish sites would ban people for the "only 3 to go, please play slow" and (in some satellites where top xx get tickets to the next round) "every pleeeeeeaaaassssseee fold to my BB, so I can make it".One of the funniest things I've seen in online poker was in a freeroll satellite when a beggar was in the BB and the chat was "help out xxxx", "fold to xxxx", etc. and it folded to a big stack in the SB who pushed all in. The BB folded, hoping to limp into the top xx, and the SB showed 25o.

ForRealDD 0
The BB folded, hoping to limp into the top xx, and the SB showed 25o.It just makes the SB look like a tard. That's an expected play with any 2 , the point is the BB more than likely doesn't have a hand to call with, even if he knows he's got 2 overs and a slight favorite it's still incorrect to call when short...granted it is kinda funny
sirch1 0
this is why i really hate the speed tournaments
Desslock 0
I have no problem with people who use their time banks in online poker if they're close to the bubble - as far as I'm concerned, the time bank is their's to use as they wish, and it's actually very limited (eg. on Pokerstars - 60 seconds for a whole tourney, plus 15 seconds prior to the bank kicking in). But in events like the WSOP, you hear tales of people stalling for 15 minutes routinely (apparently Tiffany Williamson was bad for this) and nobody at the table called for a clock because they were happy not to play either. There should be a mandatory clock on every player, every hand, so people don't have to feel they're being an *** by calling a clock on another player, etc.
