Kuge 0
Just call them up and send them an e-mail saying you will never bet on the Bodog sportsbook or play on Bodog poker.Did it work for you? Although I might actually do it either way.

Pan 0
Where are you getting this info from? Did you get an email or message on the site? I got nothing, just a refund with the Outcome "No Action".I called them this morning.

danlux 0
Here's what they told me.We were required to settle the following poker prop wager "Will any player win more than 1 bracelet at the 2006 World Series of Poker?"as "no action". The line posted on this poker prop was an obvious line error as the odds posted did not reflect the wager. We have removed the prop wager and all wagered funds have now been returned back to your eCash account. We will repost the correct lines on this poker prop shortly. Our rules of Sports betting state the following: A bet shall be deemed to be invalid when: It is submitted later than the deadline It is completed erroneously or incorrectly It is a wager on an obvious line error If you require any further assistance or have any comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. evenpar 0
bad news boys. I checked my email and they cancelled my action! Looks like we crashed the line and gave them too much action.someone set up a poll, a curious how many of us booked the bet to crash the line.

Pan 0
I replied to their email with the following:Dear Bodog,Prior to placing my bet on this prop, I called in to inquire about the possibility of making a larger wager. At the time, I verified that the line was 40/1. Later today, upon finding that my bet had been cancelled, I called in once more for an explanation. I was told that the correct line was 50/1, and that owing to a mistake on the site, all bets would be settled as 'no action.' This seems implausible.I would request that you reinstate my bet at odds of 40/1 (or 50/1, if you prefer). I believe this would send a positive message about the reliability of your sportsbook. Please understand that cancellations of this nature seriously undermine your sportsbook. Unless this matter is speedily resolved, I will feel compelled to terminate my patronage of Bodog.com.Sincerely,[Me]Doubt anything will come of it, but it's worth a shot. <_<BTW, JDR, I definitely appreciate the heads-up -- regardless of the outcome

I have e-mailed them two times about it and have have done BS. Very upset with them, and will no longer be using their sportsbook, or possible using Bodog Poker. Pissed off. Also, they moved the line down to 4/1, not up to 50/1.

mrdannyg 274
I was using a smaller sportsbook (though still decently large, and operated by a reputable large company) and a similar thing happened. basically, there were two instances of mistaken odds - one was a hockey game where Minnesota -0.5 was 2.3:1 and the Islanders were +0.5 at 2.7:1. the other time the Canadiens were 2.1:1 and the Lightning were 18.5:1.in both cases all bets were declared "no action" and complaints got me nowhere. i'm sure its in the T&C's that they can do that so long as the event has not begun.hope y'all win your protest, but i'd say its grim. TheCinciKid 0
I also have sent Bodog an email about this. I moved money to their site this morning to make this bet since I thought it would be +EV and I'm pretty upset that it was called off. Now I have money sitting on Bodog and nothing to do with it. I'm pretty likely to piss it away on stupid bets now. Argh!
r0llin_game 2
well what bout the 12/1 on the 8500+ players, also, how bout +3500 on any pro taking down the main event? not too bad of odds so might be worth a thought

But either betting on Phil Hellmuth or David Williams to win a bracelet this year seems possible with 20/1 odds.
Stylin_Fish 0
I just wanted to make sure without reading all the previous posts that bodog is still doing the bet with all the same odds. I still need to deposit money on bodog. Thanks for any updates.
TheCinciKid 0
I actually thought about the Hellmuth bet. On the one hand, he's due and he does have 9 bracelets and a ridiculous number of cashes. On the other hand, he hasn't WON an event in at least the past 2 years that I can think of. I dunno, might be worth a little something. In other news, I bitched at Bodog about the 40-1 bet that they cancelled and they gave me a bonus in the amount that I wagered, so while I'm not happy about it, it's better than nothing. Not sure if I'm able to cash out the money right away or not, but we'll see. I wouldn't even mind if I didnt get a bonus back, but I had to pay that fee from firepay when I had to take money out of the bank for this bet.

That certainly would've made me feel a bit better.
